I'll be going over a Basic Build for beginners who want to make him the best he can be, then an Advanced Build for the experts who have all of the tools to make him at his peak, and at the end, I'll show off his skills and some raw gameplay, enjoy!

Billy is going to rank low on tier lists because every character is strong, so the ones who don't embody any particular niche will gravitate towards the bottom of the tier list. But I dunno, being the only true ranged physical DPS, his coziness can be a factor in how well he performs, similar to Ben. Billy with Mindscape Cinema lv 2 is a completely different character.

@@frustratedsquirrel oh absolutely, but because people drop billy so quick, they never see his potential and just go "HeS bAd beCaUSe HeS wEAK" but overall heir one of the strongest characters in the game in my opinion!

already made him my main DPS long ago, Billy shreds HP with all of his buffed stacked. Even with just crotch shot, it is soo good!

Fun fact you can get the crouching shot buff constantly if you dash attack out of it and immediately hold down the attack button to re enter crouching shot, you can also use ex skill and ult straight out of crouching shot too. SO MANY DMG BONUSES HOLY SHIT

@@plastic_alligator9819 OH, I JUST MEANT THATS WHAT I DID IN THE FOOTAGE, BUT YEA, THAT WOULD HELP! His ex charges very fast, so use it untill you have the chance to get all of the damage buffs. It ain't a waste if you'll have it when you need it!

Based music choices I was initially discouraged by Billy's placement in the tier lists But after some thought, alongside this video, I think I'll try to build around him next (I spent all my resources on other agents already) since I already rolled some of the stuff needed for his best build I should prioritize fun over min-maxing, heck

@@bittelerrora3957 Yea, to be 100% honest, Billy deserves to be an S rank on tier lists, there's a reason I explained his skills, its because most people just see "weak ranged starting character" and move on, despite him being anything BUT that. Have fun playing him!

I love my dps billy. My strat +comp is: Piper anby(now trying lucy) and billy. Billy goes fanged metal + woodpecker electro and piper goes the energy rate and extra attack on chain one. Starlight replica for billy, any good anomaly engine for piper. Strat is, build assault with pipet, stun with anby, chain piper into anby into billy, enter crouching shot then ult. Bosses melt. Tho now lucy changed my strat a bit. It goes similar (build 30 stacks with piper for the atk boost but dont trigger assault) Lucy gets the hormone punk + energy (all atk if possible) Get the atk buf from pyper, get the buff from lucy, get the boost from chain attack, assault, w engine and crouching shot. Then after starlight shines bright bosses lose about half or more hp. Is really good.

Oh my god i was starting to get tired of Billy after I got Zhu Yuan but NOW THE HYPE IS BACK!!! i will be a billy main forever Thanks for making a video on billy tech you're just the person i was looking for during the first week of release. But i have a question... is replacing corin with piper good for billy too? She fills the Assault bar so quickly that if you switch to billy and time it right, billy can assault the living fork of the enemy Also this is the first time (in a gacha game) that i simped for a character so hard that i bought his mindscape thingy in the signal shop. He's the guy in my menu page (i just got him to trust level 4) and i am so gonna spoil him with the best disks, all talents levelled up 🥺💗

@@e_meyl97 piper could work, but corrin does the same and clears huge crowds, so thats why i chose her (seriously this girl has such a big hitbox that she can hit people behind her, hold the attack, and still hit them)

i use him like an anomaly character and hes easy to stack up phys anomaly to trigger disorder easily. hes like a ranged piper lol

Considering Billy's dps is all about every shot that hits his targets, would that make a (let's say "experimental") crit rate build pretty powerful for his overall damage?

@@fine_ol_chap Kinda? You would need the base damage to back it up, but if you can clear that hurdle, it could work.

what do you think about including a Puffer Electro in the drive slots ? I'm running 4 Puffer Electro and 2 Woodpecker Electro. How big is a PEN Ratio bonus anyway ? it's only 8% from the Puffer Electro bonus but I feel like he's dealing a bit more damage compared to usual 4 Fanged Metals, maybe need further testing but I dont have the resources 💀

@@hayashiii2717 That could also work well! Mainly its 4pc effect is the best part of it, which is what's doing all of the damage. Fanged metal is overall more consistent, while puffer electro is situationally effective.
