The Phys. Energy. and EM.on that suit sucks. My present suit is 266 220 and 226 and you are not even at 40 on any of those. Plus my suit has 15% chance to ignite attackers. and 15 points for radiation, thermal, corrosive, etc.. It's modded out to enhance invisibility as well. My helmet and calibrated boost back are also more powerful and have enhancements. I use a V'ruun boost pack with with 15% incendiary chance against attackers. Other than the V'ruun Boost Pack, the Mantis is the best....I just wish they would allow us to change the color on the Mantis stuff. Something I discovered with the Game is the AI takes note of the suit, helmet, and pack you like to use and every once in a while while on a mission or searching through shops you will come across upgrades for what you like to use if you stick with it. Naturally I always search for better equipment. As for weapons, I play as a Ronin and only use a fully modded out silenced Hard Target for long range targets and a short Barrel modded out silenced Beowulf Semi Auto for short range and medium. I came across one that had an expanded 60 shot clip and a 50% more bashing effect. I wouldn't waste my time or Astra's. I get stuff from Stash and just sell it.

The majority of the Astra that I have gotten is from ships. If you check the captain's locker there's always some in there.

All they need to do now is randomly add new POIs across the galaxy monthly. I mean it’s been a full year with zero new POIs. Let’s be honest how long would it really take to put together new POIs? Make one or two a month and throw them into the game.

@@Normal_People They need to really start shadow dropping them in, give people a reason to explore. At 650 plus hours I’ve seen every POI. You are right they should randomize the content and bad guys inside, however, you can adjust your play style. I see the Abandoned Hanger as a chess game. There are so many ways to clear it. You can run and gun, stealth etc.

@@johnathan651 I’m not sure to. The thing is these planets were procedurally created but they are static to the player. The only thing that I see changes are locations of temples every time you ng+.meaning I’m not sure if it’s easy to randomly drop locations in.

I have more than 60 Astra. At first I didn't what Astra was, but sometimes it's best to hold on important items in case you figure what or where it belongs too. Now I know.

Best way to get Astra NO MODS fly to Serpentis system. Fight ships that attack you. Disable the highest level ship and board, kill everyone aboard. The cargo hold will usually have an Astra, and alot of the time one of the Bridge crew and/or a high level NPC on board will also have an Astra.

Grind Serpentis system (fly to planets and moons, have Varuun attack you in orbit), always board the (last) ship. Almost always Astra in Captain's Locker. Grinding Serpentis is also a great way to get ships to make some cash (i did use a mod that lowers the registration fees though).

So the Vibrant suit is just a retextured Navigators suit and pack and Explorers helmet. The Bold is just a bounty hunters helmet with retextured explorers suit and pack.

I'm really happy that they're upgrading the astra loot- it was a bit lackluster at first. Honestly, since I use the Recycler mod I'm not picky about the legendaries I get from Stache because I just strip the mods anyway.

I'd like something like the Armored UC Space Helmet with the Bounty Hunter or Mercenary Spacesuit and the Ranger Backpack. Skin sets shared between Spacesuits would allow for easier mix-matching, too.

I literally was walking around with 7 astra in my inventory with no idea what they were or what they were used for and nearly sold them for their default 625 credits each, then an loading screen stated what they were and so I "tracked" down the guy Stache and then swapped them for some pieces of armor.

the red suit is not from the rover update its been in the game, but its hard to find I was able to console it in before the rev8 update.

"I didn't use mods." "I reloaded my save until I got what I wanted." I always love hearing people's arbitrary methodology. (Not being sarcastic.) It reminds me when I used to play the game in this way or that way. Starfield actually changed the way I play a lot with New Game +. I do not hoard nearly as much, instead I pick what I want to do and then just stick with it. When I want a new type of gimick, i'll do NG+ and then do the new gimick. Makes inventory management alot more fun when you aren't tied down to any one thing. I also don't reload when I don't get the outcome I want, because there's always next time. We all play these games so interestingly. I remember playing minimum difficulty, level 1 playthroughs of Oblivion, and collecting literally every item that existed in Fallout 3 to bring back to my Megaton house.

If you want astras best way is to board ships and check their captains lockers and the cargo use em weapons and if you want to make finding ships easy just get a bounty placed on you👍

as a random bit of info, Astra seem to also drop from ship captains and can be found in cargo holds/captains lockers of enemy ships you board that you have disabled.

Ah yes, the ancient art of save-scumming. Also, instead of waiting, when re-running POI, _sleep instead_ - you'll start each repeated running with an XP/ companion bonus. As for randomisation, 'stash gear pool may just have seen changes to the drop percentages so that more gear is cycled, as well as the new stuff included. The new suits are cool and it's good to hear good old 'stash has nice new stuff for us.

The fact one set is yellow and the other is red is likely a reference to the astronauts in 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). Frank Pool played by Gary Lockwood wore a yellow spacesuit and Dave Bowman played by Keir Dullea wore a red spacesuit. The red suit in particular looks a lot like Bowman's spacesuit. EDIT* commented before seeing the whole video you already mention this in your video.

Great tip! 👍😁👍 I'm gonna try it. (Liked/subscribed.) I'm always looking for new ways to get Astra. I've been taking over ships for Astra/xp/loot. First, I go to all the planets in the Serpentis System and then to Kryx. (Kryx will reset by the time you finish with Serpentis, rinse and repeat.) I've only found Astra on ships lvl 52+. You only get Astra from one ship per planet, no matter how many ships you take over or what lvl they are. Except at Kryx, once you take over the first ship ship there, the rest will disappear, so make sure it's a high lvl ship. 😁

Ik this off topic but heres a helpful tip, the kodama already has bleed damage affect by default, so if u get elemental an electic legendary affects u would have every special dmagae effect aside from em damage on a single gun

Love how your rev 8 is green and black same as mine lol also a good way to collect astra s is to just hunt down ships forcefully board there ship wipe out the crew then normally depending on your difficulty lvl your playing on you can get alot of astras by taking over enemy's ships just board wipe em out and take there cargo alot of the time they will have at least 1 astras

I'm NG+3, lvl 68 and I enjoy just a plain starborn suit. It has a pretty good protection, which is good because I play with setting where enemies deal extreme amount of damage to me, and I deal normal damage to them. Feels more like counter-strike. Although, I would've cranked that even a bit more. p.s. Just found that I had 6 Astra. Noice!

Hell yeah. I didn't mention in the video, but I don't really care about getting the highest armor stats. The challenge is fun and my character is pretty buffed anyway. I go for style and legendary traits help a ton.

I feel that specific POI you were grinding is ALWAYS pirates, right? I'm in NG+3 at this point and have already sided with the Pirates, so im assuming the Astra will still spawn in the chest. Ill update the comment if that isnt the case. I need to put that Vibrant set on Andreja so i can more easily spot her. lol.

Since I did the Trackers Alliance quest I have been randomly finding Astra in various missions and actions separate from TA missions.

The multiple weapon thing is a known thing, you can go to a place like one of the space stations and kill all the enemies over and over and not loot anything but ammo meds and legendaries and all the normal weapons will continue to stack up if you do not loot them, that includes in the weapon racks. so you can actually build up 10 or 20 on each then you can choose to loot them all and take them and sell them for a decent amount of cash since there are so many. (keeps you from having to have room to save them up somewhere else like your cargo hold or inventory.)

Whenever I get a duplicate of one of the new suit items from Stache, I notice it has the SAME exact traits as the one I already have. I think that each of them will only have those particular traits and no others. Too bad as I would like to see some other traits available instead of the few that are totally useless to me.

Okay so when the buggy came out they must have thrown in the complete set of the armor but no the helmet and the backpacks have been in the game for a while this is from the hunters Association which is an ongoing mod that they will constantly update and add things to it they just decided to finish two of the suits now all they got to do is finish the other five suits and finish all the other what you call it going after all the bounties so if you pay attention to the game you'll notice there's a bunch of add-ons all the time

The suit is obv a referance to 2001. The two main characters suits are red and yellow. Literally the whole story is a referance to 2001 but no one has talked about that or realized that yet. Its so linked to 2001, that Keeper Aquilus, the first Starborn, is voiced by the main actor in 2001, who became the Starchild. They're both about unexplained technology or a presence that ascends humanity to become something else.

Best Suit imo is the Nomad Bounty Hunter which is a mod. As silly as it sounds the Nomad suit changed the game for me as I was playing as a Rogue Bounty Hunter / Starborn an Now I actually Look the Part

The stats on these new suits make them useless unfortunately. And we should have transmog available as in most recent games, changing a suit appearance for another you've unlocked without actually wearing it to keep the original suit stats.

He is at the Tracker’s Alliance in Akila. You need to do the first mission for them to unlock the spot where he is.

It seemed like with the new update, there was some kind of weird glitch where you wouldn't be able to see the textures of the planets.. instead it was a green multi-colored text wrap.. I just saw this in a recent video, if anyone has a fix for it it would be a good idea to post a video about it.. some kind of easy fix. Or if this is something that can't be fixed on the players end of things... It would be a good idea to submit a video to Bethesda with this glitch so they can fix it as soon as possible.
