True core confidence: Courage is key for core confidence, offering comfort in all situations, unlike situational confidence. It's under your control; face situations with courage to nurture core confidence. The key is to act courageously without waiting for confidence to develop, causing core confidence growth. *Do the tasks especially when scared*

@Isaiah Byrd I mean the Bible says who exactly the father, son, and Holy Spirit is. So there would be no need for you to try to “ think or believe” who Christ is. But I see what ur saying

This really hits deep. In the movie 'Live, Die, Repeat', Master Sergeant Farell is speaking to his soldiers before they parachute into battle; before they drop, he says: "There is no courage without fear." It makes me think about people whose profession has been based around qualities like heroism. Regardless of training, equipment, and statistical data, the fire fighter still has to run into the burning building. I really appreciate this talk, I know many young people can learn from this if they just apply it.

Bro, your videos are straight wisdom that transcend basketball. I love your channel cause I hoop and the mental aspect is what drew me to your channel but I’m also preacher and I’ve used principles from your videos a few times bro, not even kidding. I even have one on my channel: “There is nothing like the presence of God” I mention the altar ego deepgame law. This past Sunday I mentioned another deepgame law about you getting hurt and realizing the love for the game playing better and compared that to my relationship with God, because it was God through your video. You are very wise and I heard you mention the Spirit taking over during the talk and that caught me. You said THE Spirit, not A spirit. Are you a Christian? Because I also feel like there a lot of Christian undertones in the vids man, you mentioned not having pride, and even the confidence thing. Literally biblical principles lol. No confidence in your flesh, so that you can have true power, a real confidence. That’s what Paul preaches in his letters bruh.

@@stevenvelez1717 you're reaching bro they're not just biblical principles. They're the basic stuff I see in most religions. Heck I see the same of abrahamic faiths, so you'd say they're Jewish or Islamic principles too right. Or instead I see the same principles from secular men like Greek philosophers, so now are they Greek principles now instead? You see what I'm saying my man. Not trying to be rude but just pointing this out. He said some basic stuff that you connected to Christianity. If he quoted a bible verse then fair enough but he didn't.
@stevenvelez17173 жыл бұрын
@@HtheKing Christian origins are Jewish, they’re not separate. As for Islam, Muhammad lived around 600 AD, so any connection between Islamic principles and Christian ones are because they drew from the Bible. As for the Greeks, the Hellenistic period was a few hundred years before Jesus’ day, but the Hebrew Bible predates that too. The OT was written over a period of time but it goes back from older than 1000 BC to 400 BC. So where is the origin? The OT law was radically different from any other law in its time.

I understand the concerns regarding earlier EGT products and marketing. Deep Game is different though. As the president of Point Guard College, one of the largest educational programs in the world for players, and as someone who has trained multiple NBA players in their mindset and psychology, I can tell you Taylor's teachings are the best I've ever heard. I don't say that lightly. I have studied from world-class teachers for decades, and I absolutely love all Taylor's Deep Game videos and recommend them to higher level players regularly. I even have my son (who is a college player) on his $500 program presently and he's loving it. I have been blown away by the thought he's put into it, and my standards are incredibly high as we teach mindset in our PGC Basketball programs.

I see this mistake regarding confidence all the time. You should not have confidence in actually making any particular shot. You should have confidence in your ability to move your body in the proper shooting motion because you demonstrably have control over your body. The shot will go in at a high rate as a matter of happenstance. If you cannot move your body correctly, that is what you need to work on.

@@DeepGameBasketball In the game I play like I'm scared and I hate it I wanna stop being nervous before games but I'm not sure if it can be fixed
@DeepGameBasketball2 жыл бұрын
@@sebrey15 The first thing to understand is that it is totally ok and normal to feel nervous. It's not something to push away or "remove" at all. Actually, what it means is that there is energy in your body available to be used during the game. Ignoring it or pushing it away is basically throwing away "free" energy. Eventually, as you keep working in the DeepGame, that nervousness transfers to excitement, and still gives you that energy. The trick is to allow yourself to feel it without thinking about it or resisting it. It will pass through your system and even improve your performance. Let me know if that helped clear things up for you. Simon DeepGame
