Commenting before the video is over: This is really cool and an awesome memory to make with the young man. I really love the texturing on the stone he shaped into them

Thank you! We had a lot of fun working on it, even if we were dying in the heat! He got so good I need him to start shaping some more so we can expand!🤣

Oh wow! I love sculpting foam, making props, and set stuff! This was a pleasure to watch come together. Please show how you did the spider webs and even the lighting. It looks so amazing! On a side note I was trying to figure out what that metaly thing was on the left top of the wood cabinet...It looks like a baby Tesla truck! 🤣 But I think it's a pizza oven.

Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it! This was our first time working with foam and we really had fun with it. I’ve already got plans for the next part of the castle! There is a web video coming, should go up on Sunday morning. Hahahaha it is a very underused pizza oven!🦇🪦🦇🪦🦇

My goodness that looks so amazing! How did you get the window shape, and how did you get it symmetrical? Have you ever used XPS foam to make stones? I have seen someone use a ball of foil to texturize the whole thing before cutting individually, but it was XPS foam. Love the foam cutter. I have something like that also. I find that I have to move slowly because if I move too fast, it will get stuck. What an amazing team you make. It’s not just the skills that Jack will acquire but the memories he will have for the rest of his life. I appreciate your sharing the process and details with all of us!

My wife had the wooden cathedral widow piece from the Michaels Wednesday inspired collection that came out this past summer. I traced the piece she had (the top part) and then drew in the rest with a ruler. After I cut it out I used Japanese paper for the “glass”. I haven’t used any other types of foam yet this was the first time we worked with foam. I’m looking forward to trying some different things with foam once the weather cools down. Thank you so much! All of these videos have definitely helped us spend some extra time together, it’s been great!
