Leon is so good at explaining coding concepts that truly anyone willing to put in the work can learn to code. And those pep talks? Whoo

I started in November of 2023. Loss of one job, 2+ family members getting multiple cancers, lots of covid…. I started this class today. Please start a fund for folks who get hired. I would pay a dues style contribution similar to a union to make a mini 100devs union. Where folks who are pacing well and consistent can receive support that may include supplemental income or tech equipment. (Not really necessary, I’ve been doing it all on an intel MacBook Air from 2017 no issues!) Eternally grateful! -a south Omaha projects public school kid who thought they’d only ever do a backbreaking trade forever

Leon is the Goat! 6 months ago I knew nothing about code, now I'm still a noob but I'm super OP compared to myself 6 months ago.. From not knowing what a for loop is to breezing through 8kyu and 7kyu codewars problems no prob, from not knowing what an API is to getting responses from NASA and building my own API's and starting hunt prep. If you put in the work this community is like a cheat code :) We online!

lol i feel the same way! to think just a few classes ago I didn’t think I would get past JS and event listeners, then APIs, and now CRUD. we’ve come a long way!

Working 12hour night shifts at my regular job makes it tough to code/study during the day. Using the circumstance as fuel to push, to get the tech job that does not make me work those hours and keep me from my family. Thanks Leon!

I can't recommend these classes enough. You won't find a higher-quality coding training program, especially one that's 100% free. It's really a "how to get a software development job" class front to back. Thank you Leon, you're changing lives daily.

Cannot believe how much I've learned from Leon in the last six months - incredible where I am today versus when I started with JS. Thanks for breaking everything down to the point a beginner can understand it!

They're available on twitch (as of today) but those classes were more along the lines of review and Q&A after jumping back in from summer break. You don't necessarily need them to jump from 41 to 44.
