As young parents, we know how difficult it can be to find the time, motivation, and energy to get into shape and stay fit. We get a lot of questions as to how we workout at home to build muscle, maintain a healthy weight, and feel our best on a plant-based diet.
As a busy dad and a mom of two (now 6 weeks postpartum), we're sharing with you exactly HOW to build muscle with specific resistance training tips and weight lifting techniques. We also share how to get enough protein on a vegan diet, and what a typical day of eating looks like for us, as a couple who is highly active (and a mama who is also tandem breastfeeding two kiddos)!

Finally someone showing they lay their newborn on the belly. Everyone has so much to say about it but I find they sleep way better and more comfortably😊 love you guys ❤️

Perhaps people have things to say because of the evidence that placing babies to sleep on their stomach can cause infants to suffocate. My best friend is a paediatric nurse at and has seen the end result of this too many times. Safety>comfort

@@Pinagii their baby is 6wks old and no even when watched it isn’t safe at that age. If the baby rolls to their stomach then they are fine, otherwise they should be on their back with nothing in the crib with them.

@@Pinagii whatever you believe what you want but for other people who are open to science and reason yes it’s true. And this isn’t about sounding smart. This is life or death stuff. SIDS is more likely among babies placed on their stomachs to sleep than among those sleeping on their backs. Stomach sleeping may block the airway and hurt breathing. Stomach sleeping can increase "rebreathing" - when a baby breathes in his or her own exhaled air - particularly if the infant is sleeping on a soft mattress or with bedding, stuffed toys, or a pillow near the face. As the baby rebreathes exhaled air, the oxygen level in the body drops and the level of carbon dioxide rises. When they did the “back to sleep” campaign for safe sleep they saw a significant decrease in SIDS. Please look into safe infant sleep, caregivers 💕

So glad to hear you are tandem nursing. I tandem nursed 2 of mine (mother of 4). Mine self weaned around 2.5 years. It was such a kind, gentle process. Love your videos and products you suggest.

Dusty, thank you for sharing the story about your leg! My left leg doesn’t work so well either due to MS and I have scoliosis so I am a bit off center too. I work hard at keeping in the best shape possible.

You guys might benefit from taking a look at Ka’chava. My husband and I just went vegan (FINALLY) about a month ago. And we have been taking Ka’chava everyday. And I used to be an avid coffee drinker (Yum!). But since going vegan the right way and drinking Ka’chava every morning instead of coffee, it helps us fuel through our day. So many great nutritional benefits with amazing taste. I think you two would definitely like it. But just a thought. 😉 Keep posting amazing content and amazing cook books! Thanks for another great video!! You guys put so much work into these!! I’m 71 and I usually do a body weight workout twice a week for an hour. I follow that with a 30 minute stretching routine then a 2 mile brisk walk. I’m always looking to change things up. I love your nutrition tips in this video to support the workout side!! Love how your health is your focus not being thin! Way to go with tandem breast feeding! I tandem fed my 2 year old and newborn for over a year and it was such a rewarding experience and I swear my son and daughter have a closer bond because of it! At 8 and 10, they still love spending time together and often want to co sleep together :)

A beautiful video with Dustin & Erin's beautiful vegan family. The vegan whole plant foods diet is what I thrive on. I always eat oats for my breakfast topped up with mixed seeds for the healthy fats & omegas. I don't use protein powders because as Erin mentioned they are not essential. Love 🥰 EatMoveRest video's and love 💕Dustin & Erin and 👪.

I was considering using the beet powder, but a little concerned about oxalates in beetroot. Wouldn't beet powder have concentrated oxalates?

You’d have to consume A LOT of beets, spinach or powders to even come close to needing to worry about it! Dr. Greger has addressed this on his website before!
