How to build, paint and weather US NAVY WW2 aircraft carrier deck

Great job! Just a question; why did you paint the individual planks in different tones when you covered it with navy blue?

Thanks Stefan. Trough the worn down paint it is still possible to see the variation in the plank colors.

If you talk about the technique probably yes but I think it will be an overkill. You can just do a one color wood layer perhaps.
