You can place block with wheels (0.5 block difference), but you can also use wing panel (0.25) and steering block (0.1) to place them more precisely :)

yaw is very easy. just rotate elevator 90 degrees, and you only need one piston controller.

How exactly could these steering mechanisms be changed with the advent of multi-key mapping? Could you cover that, by any chance?

multiple keybind makes things too easy now. i might not covering that because you just need four piston controllers that can be placed anywhere as long as its near the control surface for all wings configuration

The non complicated way would be increasing the distance between the controller and the control surface.

in your f20 tigershark video i clearly see: you use 8 modified size propeller in one wheel for the "jet" engine, and the wodden panels you can turn at any direction. so what MOD(S) u use? (in ksp=kerbal space program you can use 8 rockets, or decoupler or something like that)

thats a difficult quiestion. i can't really tell you how ^^; I guess thats just artistic skill. also rocket thruster mod does not work for the current version

Use wooden panel. Use Building Tools mod, rotate it at multiples of 10 degree, move it at multiples ~0.10 until it fits. Some like to build the cover first and put mechanism inside, I like to build around the mechanism.

I'm new to besiege, and I've been wondering how to get the mods that let you build the more realistic looking stuff. Is it on steam workshop? Or do I have do download it from a site. Also, it would be cool if you make a video on making cruise missles.

As someone new to making modded creations, may I ask if you can make a tutorial on wing shaping using mods like the build tools mod and the scaling mod? If it seems too much to ask, I'd be happy even with just tips here in reply :D

the wing should have enough propeller blade to make the plane fly, after that you can use wooden panels to cover the rest

Hello Shade, I've been trying to make propeller-driven aircraft in besiege since I first commented here and I always ran into the same problem: the aircraft is too wild and although controllable with difficulty, seems to have a mind of its own. I noticed the control surfaces getting pulled and pushed up and down by what I'm guessing is drag... do you have any suggestions to fix this?

I use steering hinges with the return into place option on. But it still not very compact and it's a bit cheating avoiding all the mechanical stuff I think.

if i start my plane from the air he doesnt fly straight (with engine off and on). Instead he starts to rotate to the right (also no differents if the engine is off. With zero gravity the plane flies straight untill ca 300blocks then it starts to go up and right. How can i fix this?

seems like your engine does not generate enough thrust. what kind of engine did you use?

simply 3 wheels (×2) with small proppelers (lengh:0,3)

8 propellers. I rotated them 23°. I build a new one and now everythink is allright, but i dont know why. The plane is a bit heavy and now my engine is clearly too bad. Do you know very fast engines that dont break?

Use a heavy block for the center of the propeller. It will reduce the propellers stretch.
