Great -your tips for us who are aging and getting back into working out make so much sense. I have never heard many of these points. Thank you!

I am 47, and have been trying to figure out workouts that work for me. Than you so much!! I have seen the kickthrough with rotation in one of your earlier videos, and I totally hated it. Now that I built up my upper body strength, I use it in my high intensity workouts. thank you for reminding about mind body connection!! Thank you for the ongoing inspiration, I'm your forever fan!!!

Wow Evdokiahantzi😊 well done! I’m 41 now been training really well lately and in amazing shape BUT I’m bloated a lot. Any ideas why? No signs of menopause but am stressed. Also notice caffeine makes me feel bloated?! Is that even a thing?😮
@evahantzi
@evahantzi Жыл бұрын
@@darnitthelma4247 that's wonderful my dear that you workout.. Consistency is the key to maintain a beautiful defined body at any age. Concerning ' bloating 'it could be by coffee.I was bloated late 40s due to premenopause for a couple of months but it disappeared when my period stopped.❤️

@@darnitthelma4247 You should visit a naturopath and get tested for a digestive disorder called Sibo. A lot of people have it and don’t realize it. I was diagnosed after experiencing myriad tummy issues including bloating and then followed a special diet to reduce symptoms.

Brilliant as always 😊 I have found that working in all directions and constantly challenging myself is key to working out after 60- but I will try those uneven weights. Such a great way to train for what life does throw at you… or you throw at yourself 😉

I love your akward fluffy objects😎 I never train with a different weight on each side, but you're right : in everyday life, we don't often carry things with the same weight on each shoulder / in each hand...

I love your content and sensible advice Cori, and I especially love your overdramatisations 😆 I recently turned 50. I only discovered strength training in my mid 30's. Growing older has thrown me some challenges but simple strength and mobility training has seen me through every time! I hope to be training like this for decades to come.

Thank you double! Glad you enjoy what hopefully makes you smile a little extra! :-) I think we need to recognize that our body does change as we get older but ultimately we can let those changes add up or we can do our best to move forward no matter what. It may not always be perfect BUT all we can do ever do is try to improve, learn and grow to be in our best shape for every decade to come! Love that you're doing just that!

“Often we’re carrying awkward objects” enter two cutie pies in slow motion. I don’t think you meant for this to be super cute and funny but it was and made me laugh out loud. What cuties they are being carried and the slow motion made it that much cuter. 😊

In my teens and 20’s I trained 20 hours a week (on top of the 9 to 5 day job) to try to win bike races. In the winter that included weights and circuits. I used to try so hard and suffered so much I can’t face this stuff anymore, although I think I ought to. (I mean the weights etc, I keep reasonably fit riding a bike for transport and recreation.) The thing is I am overwhelmed by the information here I just can’t assimilate it and work out a schedule.

Weights have changed my life/body/mind I have a set routine but will add variations (different lunge etc) at times but not often enough. We get used to what works but as we get older what worked in my 20s (I did lots of cardio & had legs to die for) no longer works in my 40s (spinal surgery so can no longer do high impact) so I have had to change what I’m used to Give weights a go. Start small. Check Cory’s videos out and good luck x

@@redefiningstrengthOC Yes, I have. My Ortho sent me to PtT, which helped. I have complete movement and no pain now. I just want to get back to exercising. I’m leery of doing too much. I also have osteoporosis and my Ortho told me no running or jumping because of previous fractures. 😔 I’d like to start doing some strength training on a very basic level m

I’m already doing some of them but you’ve reinforced the importance. I will look at my training routine more closely.
