Jason - what a great video this is! Most folks I know are very budget-conscious, but everyone appreciates having a table that's flat, smooth, good-looking and accurate. This one checks all the boxes!

Jason, dude, you are a STUD. What a genius mind and businessman. Kudos to you, man.... wish I was young enough to pick up this as a hobby, but alas, I am too old, broken down, and space constrained. (shakes fist at the sky)

Wow, this is great! I’ve lusted after a fixture table, but they’re too far out of my price range. This makes it practical, and I love the clever design that decouples the frame from the table top. (Also cool that you use the top to make the frame 👍😁)
@dc8533718 күн бұрын
You put end caps in - but - you can use the open space to put bar clamps or things of that nature in those "holes". That includes building pull out trays (best idea) to put in various tools and marking gauges, etc. Very handy place to put them and they are in all 4 corners (instead of where is my marker again).

These are going to be great as wing additions to one of the heavier tables. I always seem to have a part hanging off the edge that needs good support, but not enough to justify a huge table.

Love it Jason man I was watching you put the one leg on regularly without a square I don’t have that triple square one yet almost got one at fabtech but I’ve been using the fireball squares for about 5 years now and I was thinking the same as you probably man this would be a heck of a lot faster with a fireball square lol they are literally life savers and time savers and better yet your work is more accurate. Love the video and table 👍

Its a good video, I enjoyed watching, thank you. And I'm glad you decided to delve into the more frugal side of the market. As much as I would love one of your $6k tables, I cant possibly justify it. Half inch thick is quite generous, seems like a good deal, I will def be considering this. Thanks. Fyi anything over 3\8 is appealing to me, not just for the size and heft, which is important, but also bc that's what my new mag drill calls for. Just thought Id offer that.

This is awesome. And for the price of less than 3 of the flimsy-ass Harbor Freight tables of the same size, you can actually have a solid, hefty, sturdy fixture table that can bear a lot of weight and stay flat. Plus, it leaves a little money behind for the Fireball tooling/fixtures/clamps. Jason, you are gonna sell a shit ton of these. Great job!

You should design and print some half round TPU knee bumpers that attach to the recessed shelf frame. Just in case you accidentally slide forward too enthusiastically.

@feelthepayne8820 күн бұрын
The nut should be on the bottom of the foot. If it is on the top, those tack welds are supporting the whole weight of the table and whatever is on it, and if you're hammering, all that force as well. Very likely that over time they will break loose if your welds aren't great. With the nuts on the bottom all the racks are doing is holding the nut from rotating when you're twisting the foot to level the table.
