Thanks man I really enjoyed this one. Nice job on the building and turret placement. I'm currently in Hunter cave and built very similar to this.

I am glad you enjoyed the video! The big thing with turrets is to set them up in a way to support the players fighting

Yes for sure. As you said they are weak on their own. A solo can take down a megatribe if none of them are on. Lol Also if you get a chance I would be curious to see how you would build the outside of these caves as well. And I'm still wondering if you've retested stegos walking on top of double door frames. Anyway I try it they seem to fall through. I like that design if it actually works. Maybe I'm not placing them right somehow. 🤷

@@knighthawk5533 Ya I retested, for some reason they do fall through even if I do double doorframs both directions which should create an opening too small for most dinos. I have a video that should come out next week that will go over but essentially I fixed the issue by adding railings on top of the double door frames. It is not quite as low profile as the double doors but its better than pillars and half ceilings. Hopefully wildcard fixes this but probably not anytime soon. I am not a fan of outside defenses. I personally would just have places around the outside of the cave set up so that I could come out and drop turrets on it and create a fob if the cave came under attack. Turret towers are easy enough to cheese. The outside tp build is most likely what I would use maybe a trimmed down version of it and replace the pillars the turrets are on with double doors. 6x6 and 8x8 builds are harder to get around with platform dinos than 2x2 and 4x4s. Of course once extinction comes out I would remove all outside defenses but we got a while before that. Spam the whole area around the entrance with walls gates w/e to block a player from getting into the cave without destroying a lot of stuff. And set up dodos next to the walls in the cave with names like pack cave alarm 1 so that when they destroy the wall the dodo dies creating a red message on every online tribe mates screen.

Most hunter caves i've raided / checked out either don't do the spam at all or don't do it in the right places. And most of them do turrets on structures

Easy raid lol In ASE 100 turret walls would go down in moments with only 4 people rocket running it its even easier in ASA with all the good blps

Carno cave is extremely weak now you have to place turrets around the pillar they added that mostly obstructs good set ups. Definitely something to look into to see if there is a good way to deal with the new design of the carno cave.

@CamwayGaming I've never once lived here but was the only cave open I've lived in pack and hunter before just havnt seen any good carno builds but that might be why!

@@tamerynfendyr8143 Before they made the cave weaker so the ASE version it was easy enough to raid just swimming steggos in. Cryopods can only be blocked by about 11 foundations so once the foundations/blockers in the water area are cleared you should be able to toss cryos into the water. Every cave on islands was raideable without cryos when they were stronger. Island has existed since 2015
