Let me show you how to build the ultimate hauler / fighter in Starfield. This is a complete ship building from beginning to end showing all the ship parts I use in this ultimate hauler / fighter Starfield ship building guide.
After we complete the ship build we will do a complete walkthrough of the interior. This starfield ship build has no ladders or mazes. It can also hold over 60,000 worth of cargo as well as 1,900 shielded cargo for contraband storage.
This is the official Space Cheddar the hauler ship build for Starfield that I always use in my Game plus starfield gameplay. She has all the workshops, a cooking station and boat tons of loot storage in the back armoury.
This is the only ship you will ever need playing Starfield. You will literally never run out of cargo space and she is a complete asset to base building with the endless storage space!

Don't forget to hire Omari Hassan in Akila city and assign him, Sara, and Sam Coe as crew members and, of course, our best friend in the world Vasco. You'll need to make sure to assign them when landed on a random planet and not on a landing pad (aren't bugs fun?) If you max out Aneutronic fusion skill along with having Sam and Omari in your crew, you can reach a total of 48 power, allowing you to max out shields, engines, and 2 weapon systems. Also, Sara being on the crew gives a huge bump to fuel consumption, allowing you to go even further, plus she allows you to have an extra crew member. Benefits you get from this crew combination: Points in 1 engine power 1 reactor power 1 shields power 10% extra cargo capacity (nearly 4000 with this ship just for having a crew member) 20% extra shield capacity 30% extra speed ~30% reduced fuel cost No one really talks about crew very much, so I figured I might as well leave this comment here.

Also, if you are going to run shielded cargo, you might as well throw on a scrambler. Don't know how you'll ever get that much contraband at once, but you'll at least be prepared.

I'm REALLY liking this setup; leaving it 'small and compact' makes it not look like a 'space truck or cruiser by not having a ton of excess parts/cowling... i'm going to try a version of this, but pull out a little cargo space and add in more habs to create space for 7-8 people, so I can roleplay bringing companions to distant planets and building massive Outposts! I haven't checked all of the components but for the reactor, you must be at least level 57 to see it in the purchase menu. Must be pilot rank 4 and ship designer rank 4. Sweet build! Exactly what I was looking for.

I've been running something similar and I decided to go for a set of PB-300 Alpha Beams like you, except I then mounted two sets of plasma turrets along with that. The Alpha Beams are basically there as extra firepower and could even be left un-powered in a fight. I have been considering trading them out for a set of EM weapons. The two sets of turrets are what's doing all the work on my ship. I have most of them facing forward, and just a few facing backwards. The reason I did this is because just like your ship, it has a fat 0 in mobility. Your setup is fine on the initial approach, however once they close in, keeping them in your sights will be a challenge. Turrets can be used to cover your blind spots as they offer better coverage, which turns out to be pretty useful when you can't out-turn or out-run an enemy ship. Also helps in confrontations with multiple enemies. The fight is usually about me tossing myself into the thick of it, reducing power from engines to a few bars and maxing out the turrets with any excess going to the Alpha beams. Ship's slow, so why bother trying to compete with the other ships on something this ship's just plain bad at? I play to the ship's strengths. Oh! also, your ship just might be light enough to squeeze out a bit more mobility by using 6 SAL 6330 engines instead of those two. Seriously. Those engines are crazy good. 2 power requirement per engine and even though it doesn't have the highest maneuvering thrust on its own, it leaves everything else in the dust when you stack 6 of them. I was surprised as heck when I saw my ship go from 0 mobility to 12. Though I ended up adding more to it and now it's back down to 0. XD Anyway, good video! I hope this'll help you in the long run. :D

Dude wtf, you have way to much storage... said no one ever. An inspirational ship to work toward. Irony, subnautica where you're the only person on the planet and you can get double beds, Starfield with a comfy and close crew and you only get a single bed. One of life's mysteries i guess.

I think you forgot to mention you need “Ship Design” perk 4, and you need to be past level 60 to get the right grav drive and reactor, because I’m only perk lvl 3, lv48 and I just went through 50% of this build to find out I can do it because I get an error for not having the right stuff. Tried to use the ones under what you said and doesn’t work

Just made me a beefy hauler with 52k cargo and 27LY jump thrust. It doesn't look as boxy so had to sacrifice some cargo to have it look sexy with lots of Habs and be able to get that 27 LY range. There is only one system in the game I can't reach in this thing so if I have to go there I have no problem dropping a bounty.

My ship is laid out exactly like this inside, but for some reason it has a ladder going down to the bottom level in the very back of the armory. I don't necessarily hate it, because it keeps me from having to run back to the front and go around to the stairs, but it's weird that it didn't come out like this since I followed the guide. I even tried removing the hab and replacing it but it still has the ladder

My Brick looks a lot like this, though I'm only at 8k cargo but have nearly twice the hull and 93 mobility. I built on a 3x3 bottom hooked to the Cabot, with my 2x2 specialty habs on top of that. I have ladders but it doesn't matter since the bottom floor is all one cargo hall. I am about to swap mobility for cargo space though, so I'm likely going to look a lot like this.

I like to play a space trucker in every space game I play, but while I would love to do this in Starfield, there simply doesn't seem to be the gameplay implemented to support it. We need the dude that did Sim Settlements to say screw settlements and give us a mod called Starfield Tycoon :)

You also want all your materials with you but not on you when you are throwing up outposts and don’t want to do Back and forth or hunt up materials. Everything is in your ship cargo which can be crafted from.

Yup. You can add a control station hub to the ship to add more crew members. Though if you want to use this cockpit, you'll need to go to a specialized shipyard to get a 2x2 hab to cap the crew out at 8.

Why is it that on several of these tutorial I never seem to have all the items available that the video does? I have piloting maxed out so I can fly every ship, and I have starship design maxed out so I can equip everything, but for some reason I don't have the landing gear or the cargo bays in this video specifically available. the game has ship brands each has its own seller, they all have unique parts only available at their shops, now you can build a landing pad at your outpost and it gives you access to 95% of the parts but there are some youll still have to go to the dealers to get

I'll be the first to admit that I know next to jack about shipbuilding (only lvl 23). But at Crew 2, this is a no go for me. I'd swap out some of that cargo space for crew stations. Otherwise, very impressive build.

Just want to add to build this you need to be AT LEAST level 53 to have access to some of the level locked parts, also you need Multiple MAXED out perks to get this build looking and costing the same. Plus, your mobility is ZERO @ 6:29. What does that even fly like? What level is your Character? You have SO MANY maxed out trees @ 8:10

level 4 starship design and player level 60. lvl 60 is when you start to get advanced tier weapons and gear and it's also when you start seeing the highest tier variants (3) of ships in the ship vendor. only some ships have 2 and 3 variants, including the "best" PURCHASABLE ship in the game Renegade 3. a rare vendor spawn that SEEMS to show up at Neon and Paradiso more than any other vendor besides your outpost ship builder. it tends to show up for sale there more than anywhere. if you are level 60 and 4 in ship design, start a fresh outpost and build a landing pad with ship builder. check if the ship builder shop has the Renegade 3. if it doesn't, delete the landing pad (you get all the resources back) and build it again and check the ship builder shop. repeat until one has the rare ship. it costs 550000.

@@Liqweed1337 not the whole outpost. just delete and rebuild the landing pad with ship builder (an outpost can only have one). every time you build a new one the game rolls on the ships it'll have at first for sale. it's the most efficient way to find rare ships for sale.

missle defense is just afterburning with they get a lock, BUT be sure to deaccelerate ASAP to stop burning through all your fuel. Just repeat that over and over

Okay I tried this because I have been fighting and fighting to try to stop this game from creating ladders between the habitats that are connected to that cockpit. I have been unsuccessful. This was also unsuccessful. Unless the specific docker you used and the specific loading bay are necessary to stop the creation of the ladder, because I used a different landing bay

There’s a glitch you can use to get any part regardless of your lvl. But being a class C pilot is recommended

Also the way you deliver the information about skills in the last 25 seconds doesn't strike me as a requirement "I highly recommend you get X as well as Y" is not the same as "you need X and you need Y for this" One other thing, I would just edit out stuff like the cargo mess up, no one really wants explanation on why you made a mistake and showing something one way before removing it and doing it another way is confusing for dummies like myself. Otherwise great video looking to try it out once I rank up a bit

You can’t there is no reason to sell anything in this game, if Bethesda do t update the game soon it won’t last till x mass, I promise you , people are already getting board because of vendors bugs , ship disappear when you change anything on the ship, it’s bugged so bad after last update, mods are an excuse for devs benig lazy, I mean why don’t those same models just make they own game if their that talented, no one likes this game more than me and I’m telling you 5 days in total play time got one faction left to do , all main missions done besides start new game plus, there nothing else to do no point in making a base for passive earrings I tried to sell a 3 k full cargo hold of guns and minerals and I have to sleep every single item I sold cause they only hold 5 k credits lol, what a joke, it got boring real quick

Cargo hauling contracts from the mission boards. Though I think that 60k cargo space is a bit over kill. I am not sure how big the cargo contracts get, but I have seen contracts needing 4500 cargo space to run the contract.

@@SparkleBurst that is called making an exscuse it’s forcing players to play a certian way , when the game is clearly advertised as a do what you want game, but instead we are EXTREMELY fucking limited unless your a re re and are ok with sleeping after every single sale , my guy when you get to a certian point of the fucking game one sale item clears out the vendors credits ok, so wake up and don’t make exscuse for them they fucked up and they need to add a coupe, zeros to the fucking vendors PERIOD

@tact1calshot989 you do know there are merchants that buy your stuff then just that yellow trade kiosk box at every spaceport ? for example the trade authority building the merchant in there has 11k credits that can buy u stuff u selling..and the other merchants in town buys stuff too..akila city has quite afew merchants that buys your items!!

@@seanb40 you have to be delusional about this I have 6 total days play time, I broke my back and play all day, I know where the vendors are that pay the most money, I’m simply telling you how fucking stupid and boring it is selling and sleeping every time I see one fucking item, stop saying this is ok, if people complain they will fix this issue and it’s a game breaker for anyone doing anything besides Questing, there is one UC mission that grants 250 k and that’s it, everything else is 5-10-25 k rewards, but if you wanna be a space pirate , Gunn runner, who earns passive income threw out posts and minerals you CANNOT DO SO ithout sleeping every single time you sell one item, yes I have commerce maxed, which does nothing try selling an item that’s worth 50 k, the vendor will offer you 2500 because they don’t have money , this number does t go up because the skill is maxed I made multiple characters to make sure I did my fucking research, even if I sell one item to each vendor and sleep, that still doesn’t maximize profits and make it worth my time, and this is because drink vendors will offer you 250 credits whereas a gun vendor will offer you 2500 credits for a 50 k cred gun, stop being ok with this time wasting bull shit, because it’s not ok, it ruined the whole experience for many players, we forced to just take ships register in space because it’s cheaper and you get 2-5 k more for each sale of a ship, now yes I already sell ships ok, but I also wanna fucking sell guns I should be forced to have to take 1.30 seconds depending on time dialation and vendor locatio to make the most profit buy sell one item sleep sell one item sleep, this got extremely boring and ruined the whole experience of being a space pirate gun runner and contraband seller for me after the first time I had to do so and I only got 50 k for doing so, what a fucking joke it took me 30-45 mins of sell sleep sell sleep to Finnish one 3.5 k cargo hold and invintory off my charecter, Edit the reason I brought up ship running and selling ships is because I was already doing that as part of the charecter I wanted to play as in the world I created for them , as a space pirate contraband / gun runner with passive income in the form of minerals and parts, and I’m on the good side of the law I only take bad guys ships, now the reason I brought up ships is because it’s the only item I can sell that feels like I’m not wasting time because I do not have to sleep every ship I sell in fact I can sell all 7-9 ships in the ship invintory, without having to sleep after every ship I sell, so yes I’m fucking asking for every single vendor to have a minimum of 50 k credits it shouldn’t be this controversial to ask for this, everyone should be asking for this, we as console players should not have to wait an ENTIER FUCKING FUCKING YEAR for mods to be introduced, by that time we will undoubtedly be board to death, if they just increase the money we could go about trying to get as much money possible without EXPLOITING THE GAME, without cheating the system, we can do so legitimately, if they had 50 k credits then I could justify sleeping to restock the vendors, don’t tell me to buy a pc , just so I can mod the game this should have been noticed a long time ago, don’t tell me a pawn shop don’t pay that much for a gun, I haven’t seen one pawn shop in game, don’t tell me to walk behind a wall and steal the loot from a crate , tell me the devs have make a typing error and forgot a couple zeros.
