If Advantech always discards the first and last sheet, maybe they should buy the template and print it on every top sheet in a stack.

If you want to be able to saw through the top edge, screw a 2x4 to the top of one of the sides with it overextending the edge by an inch. Then when that 2x4 gets cut up and needs replacement, just remove it and add a new one, keeping the sawhorse base.
@alexworks96594 ай бұрын
Quick tip. Thread one piece of rope thru one side and back thru. Making one big “U” with knots on same side. It more or less equalizes. Folds flatter too. 💪🏽🤙🏽

I ordered my jackass kit about a week ago. I'm just a sys admin nerd, but (mostly your) youtube videos inspired me to try and build my own shed and greenhouse. I have a bad case of the 'how hard can it be' gene. All permitted to cover myself. I can't wait to get started.

You are just 5 more minutes of googling away from finding a batch/bash script on StackOverflow, that automates stowing away the sawhorses after you're done.

Nice when you get Advantech cheap. I build them out of 2x6 and 5/4 and still have the ones I built in my apprenticeship 30 yrs ago.
@coachesmagic28863 ай бұрын
Try using one longer rope with knots on each end the appropriate length. You won’t have to adjust each side, and when it’s not in use you could use the extra as an over the shoulder strap
@wz88383 ай бұрын
Another benefit of setting the saw down on its side is to avoid marring up the bottom of the shoe, which can then scratch up the surface of finish materials in the future.

Have you ever tried just keeping a pattern one around, then just using a flush trim bit in a router to make endless repeatable horses?
@thomasbrown94024 ай бұрын
It's almost impossible to find a good bit for flush trim panel routing, that's why.
@AwesomeFramers4 ай бұрын
I was actually going to show that is this video, that's why I had out the Metabo router at the beginning. I have a bit that will work, but its actually more time consuming that cutting.

The Jackass Sawhorses are just tougher and more appropriate for framers. I learn something every time I watched Tim, but man the best thing was learning about these sawhorses. I own a lumber yard and every scrap piece of 3/4 OSB gets snatched up for more.
