Love the use of a speed square as a stop block! Definitely one of the most useful tools in the shop

The Grant Alexander I agree! Besides pencils and a tape measure, the speed square is just about the only tool I keep on me in my tool belt in the shop. Thanks for checking out the video!

I would have liked to see how exactly you mounted the light assembly inside the box. And I could barely hear your commentary even with the sound turned all the way up.

James Achard thanks for checking out the video. Showing the installation of the light assembly would have been tricky trying to film in the sconce with my hands in the way. Nothing fancy I just took 4 pieces of equal length square stock and glued them vertically in each corner. This created 4 posts for the assembly to rest on, sort of like a tiny dining table. Then I just screwed the light assembly to the 4 posts. I really do wish I had done this step before assembling the sconce. It would have been much easier and you could have seen how I did it. If you make these, I definitely recommend installing the light assembly first. As far as the audio, you might want to check your audio settings. I just replayed this on my iPhone and iPad, it’s loud and clear, even with volume at only about half. Check to make sure the volume setting on the KZbin player itself isn’t turned down.
