I wore minimalist and plain clothes for most of my life. Felt awful in them. Realized I needed more feminine clothes. What a difference!! I’m more comfortable and more confident and frankly I look better lol Great video!

Great video! I'm very clear on my personal style. I keep a much smaller wardrobe than most and it is very curated. The change I have been making in 2024 is honing in on my preferred color palette and passing on pieces (mostly vintage) that don't fit my color palette.

Sure! I’ll try and put some in my description when I think of them, but off the top of my head Kate Young has some great fashion history and Bliss Foster and The Way We Wore…Doris Raymond is an icon and has stories and vintage garments like you wouldn’t believe. I love her content so much. ❤️❤️

I found it interesting that as a rectangle you are trying to look like an hourglass… does this mean the hourglass shape is the (or your) most desirable shape? Why not just be a rectangle? I’m not meaning to sound critical, just curious!!

Good question! I don’t think I really thought about it much in the moment but I think it really all depends on my mood and how I want to feel for the day. I don’t consider it desirable. In fact I think most of the styles and silhouettes I enjoy are “undesirable” to the average person 😂 I’m a very firm believer in dressing for yourself so some days I love dressing my figure and others I wear layers that show nothing at all. But knowing my body helps me know what I feel comfortable wearing. I think the ideal is to just feel comfortable and confident. And knowing what will make you feel that way is the key. ❤️
