Seeing cool pilots like you diving buildings is what got me into the hobby so this tutorial will come in handy. Keep up the good content Drew. Big hug from Portugal

This was great , the noob section applauds and thanks you. No such thing as a perfectly harmless tree. I’ve been on three ladders in the last year to try to floss out a drone eating tree. A stick cam would be helpful but your narration is so helpful

Thank you for the awesome tutorial! We do not have any empty building here to learn on. We do have a few quarries that might be fun to learn in.

Thanks Drew. Your building surfing is probably my favorite move that you do.
@PeterKornum6 жыл бұрын
Diving has always had the wow factor for me, but what really impress me is the “hang time” you can get from a low building... you can make it look like slow motion! THAT IS TRUE SKILL.... the way you can almost put the quad in reverse blow my mind.... I try being at the apex at idle/air mode but still I’m going towards the HARD STUFF at lightning speed!
@MudflapNichols6 жыл бұрын
Interestingly enough, I was just on my way to dive a building! Thanks! 🙂 And I'm fairly certain that was a solder sucker. 12:19
@HarleyAssi3 жыл бұрын
Hey Drew, I hope I can help for once: Its old as fuck, but at 12:30, if nobody told you yet, that thing is used to remove soldered metal. Like it sucks the molten solder away, when you push the release button.
@thaddeussargent6 жыл бұрын
Hey drew I loved the video. Great dive demo too! Just an FYI that silver and blue tube is a solder sucker, you push the plunger down on the device - heat up your extra solder or solder joint - get the plastic nozzle close to the liquid solder(preferably while the iron is still on the joint) - push the button on the side of the device and it should pop to vacuum the extra solder into the tube to trash later. Keep up the awesome vids man and thanks for all you do!
@johncgibson47204 жыл бұрын
I like your term "building dive", more fitting than rotor riots "freestyle trick". Dive is a verb that puts the craft's characteristics to the test. And you are an action adventurer. Freestyle is a adj and a noun, which are just there not acting.
@ol-man-duffyj6886 жыл бұрын
That's a solder sucker. They work awesome for pulling the bridged solder between board pin holes. Try it. Wet the solder put that tip close and press that button. Works good on bee strings to for sucking that venom out before you stab the epinephrine in that thigh! 👍🏼😉
@highquad8846 жыл бұрын
Ol-Man-Duffy J Wtf? Does it really work for bee stings?
@ol-man-duffyj6886 жыл бұрын
HighQuad: yeah! It's not a perfect fix but if you put it on there in under 2 min it will drastically reduce the swelling and healing time. 😊 sucks out the venom and a few white blood cells at the same time. 👍🏼. They actually make larger versions specifically for snake bites.
@highquad8846 жыл бұрын
Ol-Man-Duffy J Thats cool! I will try this on my next bee sting (if I have a soldersucker nearby).

The blue thing is a de-soldering vac thingy, what you do is you push the plunger all the way down, heat up the solder you want to remove, hold the tip to the solder, push black button to release plunger, suction carries it way.

Sure, day old video, see how you are... Good tutorial - perfect timing for me. been sim diving, and can't seem to get in tight. Great explanation, you make it seem so much simpler than it feels if you just have at it. My brain isn't used to staying nose down, so I have no feel once I pitch in. Your explanation helps a lot. You do great tutorials - I'm always glad when you upload one, even if it's not fresh... Enjoy your new solder sucker - got the quad box myself - I've been getting it for 4 months, and it's always been worth the 50bucks, but some of the tools are a tad on the cheap side. Minor point, I recommend it to anybody that flies much. Love the shirts & I've got lots of new props to try in the spring... Not many bandos around here, especially diveable ones, but I'll find something to crash around... Thanks for a great tutorial.

Okay, the smooth dives are a favorite but, I really want to see one of you crazy pilots go for a huge dive without pulling away from the building and bringing the drone to a nice gentle bit fast landing. It would be so crazy to see a smooth stop right at the very base of the building. Love these older vids Drib. I revisit them often. Cheers
