One of the reasons that I love this channel is that you don't just post those fancy stunt clips, but also the moments you crashed. This made the vid feels so real, like "best pilot also makes mistakes". And this gives me more motivation whenever I want to stop practising, as a FPV newbie. Thanks for that👍

Great presentation Drew! I really like how you give “the basics” approach but leave the piloting subjective to the individual pilot. Not “it has to be this or you have to do that” approach. I have learned a lot from you over my first year, thanks you are greatly appreciated
@JacobRhine-q4s25 күн бұрын
Thanks this technique is very useful and remains relevant all these years later. I noticed I was already gravitating towards slow- fast for effect and didn’t realize it was a whole thing till I saw this. So now it makes sense more then ever.

To me this is what creates "flow." I have just changed my rates by dropping super rate and increasing rc rate, and dropping expo to allow these variations in speed on each axis. Looking forward to learning this technique. Thanks Drew!

I think this video did more to explain to me what my favorite FPV videographers are doing than anything I've seen thus far. Thanks!

I just wanted to say that you made me buy my first FPV drone pre built because I tried to build and was really bad. Now I’m just building up the courage to fly it. Your videos have really inspired me to get my own quad. Keep up the awesome work your are killing the game!!!

You can see Skitzos influence showing through and a reason i enjoy Skitzos and your own videos LeDrib. It is something i am trying to teach myself to do. In time i hope i can look and fly some what like the two of you. There is something majestic and peaceful about the way you both fly that pulls me in and takes me to another place in time.

For some reason the way you explain the trick speaks to me. Thanks I have been trying to figure this trick out for a minute.

The stick cam was great, here. Though not the focus of the video, seeing the tiny throttle blip on crossing zero yaw input produce that subtle darting/hunting motion was particularly enlightening.Thank you for the continuing and excellent content, Drew.

I'm so glad you brought this up. I do slow mo style and everyone thinks I'm manipulating my speed on video. But I'm so glad you put that too rest. Finally another pilot who can do this.

Love the "Lets increase the prop noise." Been asking for the sound for a while. I am an audible learner, I could almost learn a trick without my eyes. The HOLLYWOOD slo-mo sound effect was hilarious. Keep posting I will keep watching.
@hateeternalmaver6 жыл бұрын
When I started I only wanted to do all the snappy Steele-stuff and the slower, more flowy stuff kind of just developed automatically over time. But the combination of the two to achieve the desired slow-motion effect is an awesome intermediate technique to work on and very well explained by you, as always Drew. Thanks.

Your fast-slow reminds me how in snowboarding one can huck a 5, catch the momentum in a counter motion and store the energy in a pause, then release it and kick out the last 180 late. Makes for a cool stalled effect and changes the timing of the motion without breaking the flow.

Great video Drew! I think you best example of this type of maneuvers is your flight video oxidize, I always show people that flight when they ask about FPV and they always ask if its slowed down and I just tell them "No that's just how fucking good this guy is!" Thanks for keeping up with the awesome content!

Awesome explanation, I do that regularly but just haven't had a good explanation as you have done. Watching my videos kinda threw me off, thinking the gopro messed up. But after multiple videos with same results I realized it's the fast/slow movements. If your ever passing through Hattiesburg Ms let me know, love to bring you to some local bandos and spots I think you would enjoy.

Ironically I think I do this too much, it’s like every roll is fast-slow and I’m trying to change back a little! Anyway, your instructional vids are some of your best content Drew, you have an instinct for getting to the heart of the trick and breaking it down to the key elements. Nice work and keep it up!

Great tutorial Drew, been wondering how to do this for ages and only changing my up-tilt, once I got to 5 degrees I realized that was not the whole story :) thanks for your tips
@SkidzFPV6 жыл бұрын
Great video!! I always like to finish my maneuvers with slow motion, just because it makes it look smoother, also if your tune isn't spot on cause your flying different props, or slightly heavier battery, etc. you won't notice bounce back if you slow down before stopping the trick.

Very cool. I've been looking for videos that show both the FPV view and a 3rd person view that actually show the quad doing the tricks. Not split screen necessarily.
