Thanks for your video, I made these buns today and everyone said they made the burger so much better! I've tried a few recipes using the tangzhong method and this is the best one yet!

I prefer little bit less butter, maybe 10-15%, so what about 50g? What do you think, shell it also be nice and puffy as with 100g. P.S. Buns look beautifull.👍

Nice. I like to steam the buns for a few mins before toasting, it makes the bun softer which I personally enjoy much more.

I believe they should be okay if you freeze them the right way. By using cling film aka plastic wrap tightly.

after I take them out of the oven and let them cool, I usually make 10-20 buns half I keep fresh, half in the freezer and it's no problem, I haven't tried keeping the dough in the freezer🤔

Yeah I reckon you would be fine you would just want a clean work surface or wooden board for knead and you will be fine! Just be prepared for greasy hands at the butter stage! 😂

Tangzhong is the Chinese version of the Japanese yudane, the original. Might be in exchange for ramen and all the other recipes Japanese’s got from the Chinese people. Loved the video. I feel like bread making is my Nemesis, but will give it a try. 😉

@@Al.Brady. well i dont really know but i did follow another recipe for brioche buns right after and they turned out really presentable and were easy to handle. Followed your recipe exactly and used bread flour with 12g of protein only thing i had to skip was the milk powder
