From the system that I can tell of, I do believe that the only way to copy the information from the drive is to remove the hard drive, use it as a removeable medid attached to a computer and copy the songs there. To do it directly, no.

I have the same stereo but when I download a CD onto the hard drive I can't get them to play back even though it says on the screen they are there in a file, when I touch the track on screen they won't play back, why? Any Ideas?

You don't burn a hard drive you copy into it from the CD.

latreche34: Correct term is “rip”. You rip a CD onto a hard disk drive.
