So my husband and I are wanting to buy a house. We are a family of three. We currently live with my parents and we went through a hardship last year so we have no money saved. Should we try our luck and see if we can buy a house now or wait a few months and save a bit of money?? We have good credit scores...mine is 780 and my husband's is 800. He has a salary job, and we only have one debt at the moment.

Hey luv! I would suggest saving as much money as you can prior to applying for a home loan. Even if you qualify a great loan, you’ll have earnest money and closing costs that you’ll have to pay out of pocket. You’re off to a great start, good luck luv! 💖💖💖

Hey there! I really just depends on the price point you’ll be purchasing a home for. 20% isn’t always necessary, but it’s a safe amount to have set aside. The more you put down for your down payment, the less you’ll have to spend each month for you mortgage. Hope that helps 🤗🤗🤗
