Question: I got a 8 inch board and my feet are pretty small do you think it will be harder to Kickflip then a 7.75?
@saltypickle77584 жыл бұрын
Xanh Quang I have an 8.0 size deck and small feet two. I don’t know how to kick flip yet but I can flick the board really good. So I don’t think it will matter to much if you have an 8.0 size deck.
@PHeMoX4 жыл бұрын
@@xanhquang6973 No, it's not going to matter that much. In reality, if you pop the tail and jump, you can pretty much flip any size board at least _once_ fully. I'd say double flips are probably easier on a 7.75 than an 8.0, but the difference will be so minimal, you probably will ride just as well with an 8.0. On top of that, you can buy lightweight trucks for pretty much any size deck. Those will matter quite a lot more in terms of how easy a board rides. I kind of recommend looking into lightweight trucks, but get a comfortable size deck that is still easy to land tricks on. I've got size 10.5 / 11 feet and honestly, I absolutely _love_ an 8.5 deck. But I've also got a 7.8 deck and honestly yeah it feels smaller, but for tricks it's pretty much the same. I just have to land a bit more on toes, instead of toes + heels. At the end of the day you want to land in the center of any board, so it doesn't really matter. If your not a very tall guy or not a very heavy guy, I would definitely recommend some lightweight trucks.
@kkfk9king8544 жыл бұрын
@@xanhquang6973 nope, I was skating a 7.75 kickflipped got off it and got on to my regular board, am 8.2 and kickflipped just as easily. I'm a small dude btw with UK size 9 feet

Do you know whether the shape of deck companies differ too much? For instance if there is there any difference at all between girl, real, flip, chocolate and planB? Like if one of them has a smaller tail than the other or if there’s any kind of difference between their shapes? Keep up the good work!
@Thehelpfulltru-moocow4 жыл бұрын
The shape of the deck will usually just be a standard popsicle, but sometimes companies make the nose or tail bigger, or change the shape all together and call them shaped boards. It should tell you what type it is when your looking at the info of the deck your checking out, so just pick the shape that you want, I personally just like standard popsicle or a slightly bigger nose
