Thank you so much for your advice. So am asking. After the transaction is done and the BTC is already in the "Local bit coins" App ie. My account wallet. Is it safe to keep it there because it looks like a hot wallet to me yet transfering to a cold wallet is abit costly for 1k - 10k??

They have to send because it's an escrow. The cryptos are held by the platform. So, if they don't send, you report the account and they are either banned or punished from selling from there. However, always buy from a verified seller. You can trust them because they have a reputation to maintain on the platform to maintain their sales and profits.

Hey Ridhwan, Pole for that. You have to really be cautious with P2P Merchants on all platforms. Not everyone has good intentions and always make your purchase from a verified trader so that you can raise the issue with the platform and they can easily track them and reimburse you in case of anything. However, if you have proof of payment, write to Local Bitcoins, or reach out to the support team, you should be assisted. But again, be extra careful and pole sana.
