Yeah you are right about these used car prices. My dealer’s license finally was approved two months ago. I saw a nice Acura RDX or MDX at an auction that sold for like $1000 or so greater than the median Kelly Blue Book price. By the way I stopped renting cars on Hyrecar. The maintenance costs from the high miles was cutting too much into the profit. I transitioned my rental cars to buy here pay here contracts . I sold my cars to some of the renters and just made the loan terms short to beat the depreciation. However moving forward, my buy here pay here dealership mainly will be focusing on people who do not do gig work. If you mind, could you share your body guy’s info ? I def could give him business in the future since I’m doing buy here pay here. Lol however I understand if that’s information that you don’t want to give out. Im realizing that in the automotive industry, it is all about having the right connections. I’m in Atlanta too by the way.

When signed up for auctions, you can see the sales inventory the day before the sale. There are auctions accessible to the public, but the ones I usually go to are dealer auctions.

@@wiseonemobilenotary6581 All tow yards have public auctions, IAA insurance auctions have individual accounts and so believe co parts does also. You can also try to do a google search in your areas for private auctions. You can also work a deal out with a local small dealer to buy you a car from the dealer auction.

Title can’t be branded, meaning no salvage, rebuilt, flood or dealer buy backs. The car can need body work and still be clean title

Do you have tips on how to avoid trip cancellations. I have had two guests cancel trips for no reason. this is a big problem especially for started with only one car. If a guests bookes a car from May 1st to 15 and then cancells before the first, that means all the possible trips that you could've had booked from that same period will affect you. Cuz obviously the person that cancelled had the car booked and didn't end up booking it!

It sucks but as long as they cancel before the 24 hour mark, Turo does not compensate you. It shouldn't happen often though.

You can't I think he's referring to you can buy salvage vehicles with a dealer's license and you can sell them to the public but you just have to disclose depending on what state you're in how the car became a salvage like for an example if he was in a flood which in California you can't sell those cars but in other states they let you do that

You need to take an extra car and use the money as a deposit to fix up your vehicles, especially because Turo/other car sharing platforms' insurance can deny your claim, even if you're on an expensive protection plan(60/40%)! You can also go to a used car dealer and buy the car, those cars won't need as much repair work. You want to go to a pay here buy now lot. Certified used lots charge too much, but the cars are in good condition, however. We are experiencing great success as hosts, because RAC centers are charging too much. Once RACs lower their prices- we will feel it. Now is the time!

Repairs from accident can be written off but the insurance check is taxable income. Depreciation is a great strategy also. You should consult with a CPA if you have a fleet of more than 3 units.

This is not really a good video for how to buy cars cheap. Very few people have access to repair work with no labor cost. It would cost a LOT more....way more....if i went to a shop to get all that work done. Not to mention the paint. older cars are ridiculously priced today.
