Hello and thank you for your comment. Currently the domestic crypto exchanges do not list USDT. But you can open an account with non-domestic (i.e international) exchanges and buy it there. However you will not be protected by the Japanese rules. I hope that helps.

Appreciate the detailed breakdown! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?

Hi can we use bitget to buy crypto in Japan?
@AEconomiae23 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment. It seems that users in Japan can use bitget indeed however it is not registered or licensed in the country. Japan-based users are not protected by local laws (collaterals, cold wallet, insurance, etc) and the company does not have Japanese entity. As a result, if something goes wrong, you won't be protected the way we were during the FTX collapse. I hope that helps
