Question: Are orange tabs lower quality? I have handled the A grade made in usa red tabs (with the red text on patch) and they are phenomenal. What is your opinion?

My opinion is vintage orange tabs are of great quality, but not higher than red tab. Red tab was always used for top items like 501. But orange tab was used for making cool things, where Levi's took more risk. That's why orange tab is super collectable, more interesting.

@@QuartzCrisis Nice this is what im looking for. Also you briefly touched mentioned that miUSA doesnt matter right? Like if I find a pair of red tabs (with red text) that are made in Mexico or Quatemala (or even Canda), can those still be that heavy, high quality? Thanks again, I appreciate it!
