How to bypass Windows 11 Internet connection and microsoft account login during setup
If you are setting up a new installation of Windows 11 and are unable to connect to the Internet, The WIndows OOBE or out of box experience will not allow you to continue.
This is pretty easy to bypass and will also allow you to create an offline account, bypassing the need to create or use an online Microsoft user account.
When you are stuck at the Internet connection screen do the following.
Press Shift and F10 to bring up the Administrator command prompt.
type the following command and press enter.
oobe\BypassNRO
Windows will reboot and you can go through the OOBE section and on the internet connection screen you can choose "i don't have an internet connection" and proceed to create an offline account.
When finished you can install the WiFi or Ethernet adapter drivers from a USB stick or CDrom
IF THIS FAILS
Use the username [e-mail]
Use the password nothanks
This with glitch the login as it has been used too many times and allow you to continue setup.

This may also apply How do I bypass network screen if Shift-F10 is disabled? Press 'fn+shift+f10' Press 'option+tab' (The Option key is labelled Alt on keyboards in some countries) Then you will see a UAC window, move to that window by pressing 'option+tab' and then press 'yes' button.

Also very useful for installing video drivers! My preferred method is to not let windows install the default outdated video drivers and I put my drivers on a usb stick! Makes life easier

Hi all, this is partially working after Aug 29, 2023 update. New way is Ctrl+Shift+Esc, goto C>Win>Sys>cmd.exe; run as admin,; S mode error pops up; connect to wifi, login with MS account for S mode; and CMD will start working (disconnet WIFI); after that follow the steps from top (the vid). DONE DONE & DONE ;)

Thank you very much for this video. As of FEB-2024 with the latest Win 11 OS 23H2 you cannot bypass the internet requirement by ending the task "Network Flow Management" through Task Manager. As you try to advance the internet connection screen reappears. This video shows the potentially only method to boot up with "I don't have internet" and bypass the internet requirement.

QUESTION: After I do this, I want to reverse this "bypass" action and re-turn on the "connect to internet" screen. How do I reverse this action? The reason is because we do actually want to connect to the internet with our Windows account. We're only doing this "bypass" action because we want to verify if our new laptop has been already activated by someone unknowingly. We don't know if this "bypass" action is permanent or not. Haven't heard of this method before. I just used the task manager and ended the "network connection flow" as Craftcomputing explained. But that solution doesn't seem to work anymore. I just get an error like; "oops we lost your internet connection" something like that. And after that I can no longer bring the command prompt to the front without force restarting my pc. So this works great for a desktop that has no wifi card. BUT I deal with ALLOT of laptop's to set up . Do you have any suggestions on how to use your Bypass trick on a comptuer that has Wifi built in. and before you suggest to go into bios and disable wifi. in SOME cases this is not possible.
