I did this - took 10 hours to do. It looked SOOO GOOD!! My desk looked cordless. A week later, half of the scotch adhesive fell off and the all of those little clips were just hanging everywhere. Attempt #2 will definitely be more of a let it hang version.

I am ecstatically delighted and disproportionately flabbergasted with enormous gratification and appreciation for the dispensation of such a tendering and mesmerizing information in which the prestidigitation of the concurrent and subsequent matter is thoroughly demonstrated through the innuances alluding to literal and metaphorical context. It is highly imperative to note that, such is the significance of the aforementioned distortion in any shape or form will result in catastrophic ramifications to which will be the outcome of epic proportions. I thank you for your unequivocal.Idealically, based on my intellectual capacity and my vast knowledge, tactically and tentatively, right from the beginning of times especially in the light of Ecclesiastes evolution, I have come to a concrete, definite and profound conclusion that I actually have nothing to say... @Drunken_Hamster 8 жыл бұрын
What if you want to move your keyboard and mouse WAY out of the way to eat? Or change the setup completely? Or even move the things a little bit to adjust as you game for a hard session? I think I'd just live with only two measly wires going forward on the desk. At most, I'd drill a small hole towards the back of the desk or close to the monitor for the wires to go in.
@kriskhaira
@kriskhaira 7 жыл бұрын
Color plays a huge role in making your desk look neat as well. If your cable box was white and you used white cable covers to run the wires to the box, it will look much neater because your wall is white. Great video otherwise; and I learned quite a few things from it too.

Time stamp 5:46 I would use two 90 degree angle brackets bolted to that big black center brace going arcoss to hide the box behind it you can even paint the bolt heads black and use something from the first half to pick up the hanging cable so that the most you see is one cable that which plugs into the wall! That is good cable managment seeing only one cable from the front below the table! I also use an audio jack extension cable with double back tape under the table like the USB ports are being done on the far left side of the table so that you can plug and go or unplug it let hang and go loud when you need to shake the house down! I will leave the last part up to you to decide! Even TechSource can learn something new he is not the end all to cable managment I be talking to his haters here think out side the box and tell him it will help us all!

I would like to see an updated version or at least one with any new cable mgmt. accessories you now use. Some people just don't get it. When people see me setting up their new office and spending 1/4 of the day (I can't get away with half day) running cable, they just don't get it until they come in and remember the previous view vs my layout. All they have say is roughly "Thank you and that is amazing". I set it up so they can easily follow the cable or even another person can come in and follow.

I am using a temporary desk right now when I save money for a new setup so I used the let it hang method. I just used 6 zip ties and it worked really well. I have notches on the wall the conveniently allow the wires to go through and down to meet each other with the table still flush to the wall.

And I only used Velcro straps to fold/ roll the cables to each individual bundle and tape them under the desk. This solution will look very clean from the front as long as you don't peek at the back underneath the table lol.

Great video, but for the “Tuck it in” method, what should I do with my wired keyboard/mouse?
@Anjreeas
@Anjreeas 4 жыл бұрын
You can drill a hole into the desk under the keyboard cable so you can hide the cable under the table wrapping around to your pc usb socket, you may have to cut a hole into the mousepad but that depends if it’s an XL or XXL mousepad, you can do the same thing for the keyboard on the mouse by drilling a hole through the desk and letting it run under the table making it look like it is wireless (Note: when drilling a hole for the mouse pad leave a little bit of the cable seen so you have mouse slack and will not be caught onto the hole slowing down the mouse, you may also hide these cables with cable race ways)
