Matt, I just washed my whole car in the time it took you to "dial in" your soap, LOL. Bilt Hamber is awesome and the only product that I used that actually removes dirt from a car as a pre rinse foam. I love the thought of a touchless wash as a weekly maintenance and then a full friction wash once a month. Love the crazy, keep it up brother.

Please don't take this the wrong. I'm not something that is looking for the "gotcha" moments in your videos but want to clarify for others that may not realize it or misunderstood. With the dual kranzles, you said it's around 26 washes per 5L bottle @ 2% PIR (5000ml/382ml)*2 =26.17 washes With a single kranzle, you said it's the same amount. 2 washes per foam cannon is correct but want to clarify for others that out of a 5L you will get around 37 washes not 26 washes total because you are using less product to achieve 2% PIR with the single kranzle. (5000ml/271ml)*2=36.9 washes Some people may have misunderstood that so wanted to clarify. Love the content as always. 👍🏼

I've heard you mention Bilt Hamber in a bunch of recent videos but never saw the origin of what you wanted it for and why we need it. But this is like a dream product of mine! Being able to do as you describe - foam the car, let it sit a bit and eat the dirt and dust. CR spotless rinse it off and let it sit. For someone that has relatively clean cars that are garaged and not driven often this is what I've wanted for years!

I have my 1LT BH 2.0 ready to go. However, I will start putting it to use once I see more video tutorials come out. That said, my intent on putting this soap to use is when my car is far dirtier than normal...say after a good rainfall (I live in California). I usually wash my car once a week. I have other very good-quality rewash soaps in my arsenal (GSF, Reset, Descale, Mega Foam). Thank you for the great info. Lastly, Matt (and everyone else) you will LOVE Trace-Less 2.0. Without question, it is the best glass cleaner I have ever used...Period!

I usually find it easier just to fill up the canon to 1L then empty the canon of only 250ml otherwise you'll just need alot of buckets. You can just multiply that 250ml by 4 to get your millilitres. I'd be interested to know what your ratio is when you've just turned your griots canon all the way to negative instead of using the metering tip. Great video as always

I also find it works better with warm water rather than cold. But then I have always run my pressure washer through a thermostatically controlled tap as in the UK in the winter months it is much better. Someone once said to me "You wouldn't clean your dishes in cold water and the baked-on crap comes off much easier when it's soaked in warm water"

Matt, Is it fine to buy and use DI water with a bittering agent in it for use in the foam cannons? Canadian Tire sells it but not sure if it's safe since it's marketed for coolant.

If you use griots foam cannon and want to keep using the same container with your diluted soap you will likely want to also get an extra griots foam cannon container because it comes with a lid that will store well. The problem I had was the extra container with the lid was back ordered and it took me several months to get them. Kudos to griots because the kept me regularly informed with e-mail status updates.

Just to confirm, do I need the 1.25 orifice option for the Griots cannon with my Kranzle 1122? For some reason, I thought it was the 1.1, where the 1.25 is used for when the Kranzles aren't on dedicated 20amp.
@ethanlivingood9426
@ethanlivingood9426 14 күн бұрын
Yes you need a 1.25. A 1.1 will eventually ruin the machine. You would use a 1.5 if you couldn’t get a dedicated 20amp.
@ObsessedGarage
@ObsessedGarage 14 күн бұрын
Yes, definitely 1.25. You will hit almost 20A with 1.1. That's a no go.

So on a single Kranzle using BH straight and aqua tip you could see about 1.8% PIR. Any estimates on a purple tip? Closer to 1% or less? I'm using an active 2.0 so I assume the ratings will be similar given the GPM.

stupid question but is the OG SPEC way to do touches then GSF and then use GSF as the shampoo? Or if I use reset... Touchless, then Reset for the contact wash? If I use reset, then is there a need for GSF?

Can someone post the PIRs for the single 1322?
@graeme748
@graeme748 14 күн бұрын
For me the easiest way to work out your PIR is if you empty your foam cannon into the bucket and weigh it in grams. Subtract weight of the empty bucket and multiply by 0.01. That will give you 1%. Double that figure and you’ll get 2% PIR
