I just found your channel by searching for CAGR videos. Good job. You have good video tutorials for Excel. We have similar channels, so I am excited about your channel's growth. Best wishes from the USA.

Awesome and very much informative. Do you also make videos for adding business related formula in excel. If so then great if you can share links to those videos. 👍🙏

Thanks for watching! When you say business, do you mean accounting and finance related videos? In which case, I have a playlist dedicated to this: kzbin.info/aero/PLK5FjPWoDFmIz-WQjXgTK3BYEM_SIi5DO

That calculation is compounding on an annual basis. If you want continuous compounding it's ln(EA/BA)/n, where n can be any fraction of a year.

I have questions. I am still confused to this day. Hope you can help. 1. I wanted to calculate CAGR from 2021 to 2030. That is 10 years. So, what year should be the "beginning value" of the calculation? is it 2021 or 2020? the formula is =((2030/2020)^(1/10)-1) 2. Or, would it be meaningful to write it as CAGR 2020-2030? the formula is the same, that is =((2030/2020)^(1/10)-1) thank you.

If you want to calculate it from 2021 to 2030 it would be (2030 amount/2021 amount)^(1/9)-1 whereas to calculate it from 2020-2030 it would be (2030 amount/2020 amount)^(1/10)-1. I explain the rationale behind this in 1:40.

@@theexcelhub that's what I thought the correct way to write/calculate them. However, I often see like the first one. They would say CAGR 2021-2030, but calculate as (2030/2020)^(1/10)-1 It is very confusing. But I prefer your way.

How do we calculate CAGR if we have days instead of Years?
