Colour management is a very complex science. You must understand and implement it, if you're a creative (photographer, graphic designer, cinematographer etc.) Otherwise, will have years of works with colour mismatch. But then again, if you are not into creative work, you don't necessarily have to do this.
@teddy00b5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for touching up on this topic sir. I've personally been very picky about colour management for almost 5 years now and it helps to have experts like you talk about it. I usually test my results by comparing how close the colours match up to an iPhone or an iPad as most of my clients and their audience use something like that for consumption.

Why so many hate comments ? His narrative and use of coffee making analogy was pin point perfect. He has shared a sacred bit of information that is a close guarded secret of prepress studios! For haters and trolls: Your generation is just 'desperate' to get 'somewhere', but are utterly clueless about your life., you guys don't even deserve this quality information. Mr Radhakrishnan thank you for making such a comprehensive and a bookmark worthy ready-reckoner video. I am a prepress professional and find this info credible. How can I caliborate without tools
@alonsoduran82003 жыл бұрын
Hey whenever you print on paper your images will be darker and this is because on a computer you have the backlight illuminating the picture and on the paper there’s nothing like that, it’s not that much of a calibration issue it’s just something to keep in mind while editing.

He was merely using the example of the coffee as a metaphor. Remember this is for an Indian audience, so stories get the message across much better than mere language, which is often mangled and butchered irrespective of whether the presenter is a dropout or a PHD. If one was to use your logic or reasoning, one would have no B-roll in a video or no foreplay during sex. 😆
