Hey Rick. I finally got my first javelina this week and brought along your caller. I had been working on perfecting the sound for almost three years now. I'm close, but still need a little work. Anyway, I tried it numerous times throughout the week, but nothing ever came in, not even a few coyotes within eye shot. Then, after I killed my java, a few of it's friends didn't know what to do. I put my rifle down and starting calling. Wow, one of the remaining four actually started charging towards me but then stopped halfway. The other ones seemed scared by it and ran off almost immediately. My friend said they were all probably confused and got scared, that's why they ran off. So I would have to say the caller definitely works, I just need to perfect the sound a little bit better I assume. Thanks again.

I have heard javelina in distress really gets em' running in!? Has it worked for you?. I jumped 3 a number of years back & they 3 turned on me! I was initially was deer hunting. Thank God I brought my AR.

I just saw one of your videos where the Javelina just about charged you because your call worked so well. So I have a funny story Rick. I first saw one of your videos about 4 years ago when I was getting my wife into archery hunting for the first time. I convinced her to put in to hunt "pigs" and that they were harmless and would be a good way to start hunting. The hunt was a month away and we came across your call and bought it then started to look up videos of you using it. To our surprise the pigs came running in and charged straight at you and made you jump out of the way. My wife looked at me in disbelief and said this is what we are hunting?!?! I calmly told her that there is no way our call would work the same way and she had nothing to worry about...... Boy was I wrong... First day of the hunt we spoked a herd and I got on the call as my brother and wife who were standing behind me knocked an arrow and waited. To my complete surprise the javelina stopped in their tracks, turned around and came charging back at us! We were up on a small hill and 4 different big javelina came in charging straight for my wife.... I knew I was in trouble big time for not preparing my wife on what could happen and what to do. To my surprise she turned, faced them, drew back and let one rip as they were closing in 5 yards away! She was running on pure fight or flight instincts and fended off 2 different charges from 2 sets of javelina! After things calmed down and our hearts slowed down we processed what happened and had a good laugh. The next day we got on them again and she put an arrow thu one. Needless to say your call works and have helped us get a pig every year after that. I tell everyone to go get your call and it will change the way they hunt stink pigs.
