This was very interesting and informative! Great way of presentation! However, I had a question about sherpa cloth and cleaning the sherpa cloth! I have this white sherpa fuzzy bubba slippers and they have a lot of dirt and blackish thread around it! I want these fuzzy bubba sherpa socks looking like FRESH WHITE SHERPA all over again and brand new! However, I don't know how to clean them properly! I would hand wash them with some detergent in a bath, and then take your brush and scrub them for a few minutes. Make sure that when you are done, you brush any matted parts out. I hope this helps. Good luck!!

I do have some follow-up questions about what you mentioned so I don't mess anything up. Questions: 1) What kind of water should I wash the sherpa slippers in? Hot water or cold water? 2) Is there any particular type of detergent I should use for the washing? For example, should I use dishwater soap detergent or laundry detergent? 3) Am I allowed to use Oxiclean in helping making some of those dirty parts go away? Get creative! If you have a metal bed frame you could use that. Or a towel rack in your bathroom. You could also use something like a couch, and just put some towels underneath it and then turn over the blanket every hour or so until it is dry. Or try a railing outside!

It should! It really depends on what the socks are made out of, but this is the care instructions for most fuzzy fabrics so it is going to be your best bet!

I would stick to a boar bristle brush. You don't want anything too stiff or you could damage the fabric. You could probably get away with a faux boar bristle, but you are going to want to use something in that family.

I really would recommend hand washing. But if you are going to do it make sure to do it on cold, that it is the only thing in the washing machine, and take it out and brush it immediately.

A lot of machines will have a more delicate cycle (slower spin speed and cold water). It can be called a few different things, so it depends on your machine but it should be cold water with a slow spin speed.
