How do I stop mold from growing on indoor terracotta pots? Not mineral etc deposits but actual fuzzy mold that wipes off? I’ve sprayed Neem oil, hydrogen peroxide and it just comes back. My house isn’t humid. It doesn’t happen to 2/3 of my pots (older ones) just 6 or 7 of the new ones. I bought some of them on Amazon and some at Lowe’s.

Thanks for all the helpful information. I am not a plant person. I wish I was. I have one little Jade plant and just searched today when I realized it was not fruit flies I was seeing, but fungus gnats! I watched your video on treating them. I'm going to look for the drops you mentioned. The person I bought my plant from said repot in a year (that was in the spring. It has grown quite a bit since then), but I wonder because I have 3 stems to my plant coming from the center. 1 straight up and 1 on each side forming a V. The little pot is only 3" high and the tallest stem is 5 1/2" beyond the top of the pot. I suppose this it's hard to advise when you can't actually see the plant. lol Anyway, thanks for the informative video.

I had some aloes and haworthias that I got at a local garden center and if I had not repotted them, they would have rotted. It looked like they were in dirt from the ground. It was terrible and soaking wet.

When you say you use nursery pots, you never say how big the pot is, That you are potting into. Could you Please say the pot size when you use various pots? Thank You.

Ashley, do you have any referrals for online shops with a wide variety of ceramic planters? The selection at big box stores, Amazon, and Wayfair are blah underwhelming. I see beautiful planters on sites in Great Britain, South Africa, Lebanon, Pakistan, Spain, and Singapore -- but none of them ship to the US.

Same request here!! the problem is the weight of the shipping is astronomical.

If you have an IKEA near you, they have awesome pots of all sizes for great prices. I live 2 hours away from IKEA but make the trip 1-2 times a year to stock up! ! I also have a ceramic kiln and glaze inexpensive terracotta pots to make some beautiful pots fairly cheaply. So if a friend does ceramics, that’s a great option too. 👍🏼

@@sharon_rn2066 IKEA's selection is dismal and under-whelming. You can choose from gray, gray, more gray, or white. And they don't have anything decorative or colorful like Talavera.

As I mentioned in the video, I watered it not on camera after I finished filming.
