FFF 😍🙌🏼🤸🏼♀️🥰💐 good morning, meine liebe Freundin! Success, indeed!! It gives me hope that she is not one of the weaker ones and that this season she will grow a bit stronger. I was not expecting a spike so soon, doesn't mean she is happy, but it was nice to see the blooms. 👍🏼 am watching the pseudobulbs closely, and am ready to cut the spike prematurely if necessary! Thank you so much for watching, amiga mia! I hope you are having a sunny and warm(ish) day 🫶🏼❤️🌸

😍Hi Sandra 💐 she really is! Better than I expected, tbh! I initially thought that the alba form would not do it for me, that is why it took me so long because I was wanting the pink form and all I saw on the google was the alba form. The images just don't do the alba form justice though, so I am not disappointed. 😃 I hope you are doing well, lovely lady! Thank you so much for watching and for your kind support 🫶🏼 have a beautiful rest of your day ❤️🌸

😍Meine Mona 💐 servus schöne Frau!! Ich hoffe es geht dir gut 🫶🏼 I was so excited that the tag did not specify alba 😅 well, here we are, she is the alba form. I thought I would be disappointed, but no. I like the blush of pink at the back of the bloom. Maybe one day, I will get the pink one 🤫😅 it will be a couple of years though. I hope that this one, will grow a little stronger this season now 🙏🏼 thank you so much for watching, lovely lady! I hope your day is going beautifully for you 🫶🏼❤️🌸

😍Hello, lovely lady 💐 she is prettier in real life than I what I saw on the google all these years. So, while I should be disappointed that she is, in fact, the alba form... I am not. I still want the pink one, and maybe one day I can have her, but this was a nice surprise. If I did not appreciate this being the alba form, trust, I would say so 😆 nope... she puuuurrrrtteee 😍 wishing you a Sunday full of R&R and a sudden big leap in recovery 😘 thank you so much for watching, Denise 🫶🏼❤️🌸

😍Hi Bette 💐 It is so good to see you! I hope that 2025 is already treating you well 🫶🏼 a blessed New Year to you and your loved ones as well, lovely lady, thank you for the wishes and for taking time out of your weekend to watch the video 🥰 I have to say that, I though the alba form would be a bit meh, but I am pleasantly surprised that I really like the blooms, contrary to what I thought because I really wanted the pink one. If I get the chance, I will get that one as well one day, but I am very surprised as to how beautiful the alba form is. So much better in real life, than the images I saw on the google 👍🏼 wishing you the most beautiful of Sundays, Bette!! Thank you, again, for watching 🫶🏼 so good to see you ❤️🌸

Great info! I have that other Lelia inside the house with the baby cattleyas growing a couple of large new roots, so I guess it's happy for now! 🤷♀️

Hi Debbie 😍💐oooh, you have the pink one? NICE! I so wanted the pink one for years, and as the tag did not specify the alba form when I got this one, I was excited that she was the pink one. Oh well, can't have them all, but maybe one day, I will get the pink one as well. Still, I a pleasantly surprised how much nicer the blooms look in real life, as opposed to what I saw on the google all these years. So, I am not too disappointed 😊 orchids growing roots are happy, yes! I bet you are happy as well 🥰 I so appreciate you watching the video, Debbie, thank you so much! Have yourself the most wonderful of Sundays 🫶🏼❤️🌸

Hope you are well and recovered from the storms. Here's my orchid update: mini phal 1.0 hit the dust about a month ago. The bottom of the stem was still green, but all the roots were papery. Life happens and mini phal 2.0 arrived today. I asked for a white one, she is ever so slightly pink... barely a blush. She has a yellow throat with dark pink/rose freckles. And now I can see a streak of very light pink down the center of each petal... Like someone took a very light swipe with a paint brush. She is a much healthier/mature plant than 1.0? With 12 leaves. (The bottom 2 are small and look like possible seedling leaves). She has 3 spikes with no broken tips. Am I worried for nothing as most of the root tips are dark... Is that calcium or magnesium deficiency? 💕🌞🌵😷

😍Suzie Quetie, hi 💐 it is good to see you! I hope that you are doing well and that 2025 is already off to a great start for you! I am sorry to hear that your charge did not make it! After all the care and love you gave it... I am so sorry, however, let me just add that, I am super happy to read that you have yourself a another cutie 😍 dark root tips could be several reasons, the most common one being that the media is too acidic. Which you can easily get corrected by flushing with plain water, no fertilizer but the water at a pH of 7.5 to balance out the acidic media. The other reason is, fertilizer burn. But I cannot gage that because I do not know how the orchid was fertilized before you got her. So, while you are enjoying the blooms, there is no need to fertilize your baby. Just water with plain, clean water at a pH of 7.5 and see if, further down the line, the roots get a chance to branch, or she starts new roots at the base 👍🏼 thank you so much for watching and for your update 🥰 wishing you a beautiful day, lovely lady 🫶🏼❤️🌸

😍Lyn, hi 💐 I have as yet to see how long they last. First time for this orchid to bloom on the patio, time will tell, but I will update the description when I know more 👍🏼 and, if my sieve brain can remember, I will reply here so that you don't have to come back to check the description 😘 I hope you are having a beautiful weekend in paradise and wish you a Sunday that just adds the cherry on top of the icing 🫶🏼 thank you so much for watching and your support ❤️🌸

Great info, cute compact plant. Watching the video leads me to wonder how to determine if a flower spike should be staked or left alone ??
@NinjaOrchids4 күн бұрын
Debbiiiieeee 😍 hi! 💐 yup! That is why I have criteria as to which orchids I will buy that have long flower spikes. Those that cannot stay outside and grow long spikes during the winter, I tried to stay clear of them all these years. Its a preference thing as well, I love the natural look of an unstaked flowerspike, but for filming??? It has to be a super still day or else, it is pointless. Then staking for the sake of filming, I don't know where I am poking anything in the pot with a stake, so I don't do it. I only put supports in my pot for growth training purposed on larger orchids, should there be the need, but these little ones, they don't get supports and then we have these ambitious spikes. And, get this, this spike is short compared to what length they can get to, which is double as long 😂 my spring blooming rupicolous laelias all have long spikes, and it is a bit anxiety inducing watching them grow and hoping nothing will snap 🫣😬 still, if they do as long as it wasn't because of my clumsiness, then it is all part and parcel of nature doing it's thing. (*cough birdies *cough) anyway, we got away with it on this one 👍🏼 this time 👍🏼 hope you are doing well, lovely lady! thank you so very much for watching and for commenting... I get to wish you a fabYOUlous day 😉🫶🏼❤️🌸

🦤🦅😍 Heeellluuurrr Wingman! 🫶🏼 you won't be disappointed when you do. The only thing with these is that if blooming in spring, the spikes are loooonnngg! Another elbow tragedy looms (or in my case, big butt) 😂 tight squeeze in the blooming alley avec a wide derrier. But, you wouldn't know about such dangers 😂😘 thank you so much for watching this video as well 🫶🏼 snuggles for Fluff... head scratches for you ❤️🌸
