Aw thank you! Yes I know it's most commonly called string of turtles so I think people assume it's related to other 'string of' plants 😊💚

I just started putting some of my Hoya in pon and want to transfer all my philodendron to leca and for my calathea and Alocasia will use either pon or leca. I finally found a string of turtles and just love them. Found a piece of hope and pilea on the ground at a nursery and they gave them to me so I’m just rooting them now in perlite. I’m hoping they take. I have learned from my Hoya to keep water level low to avoid rot on the stem and some plants are easier than others to propagate

I have some Hoya in Pon and they love it 😊 I add Leca as an ingredient to my soil mix but I don't grow any plants just in Leca at present. Oh definitely re propagation, some are so quick and some take months! All part of the learning journey 💚💚 thanks for watching 😊

Great video! I always had problems with my Peperomia obtusifolia, but I think it was because I always just used standard plant soil. I only got into more in depth plant care after I had a heavy case of thrips infestation and especially the two cuttings I had grown from my original plant (wich sadly went to plant heaven because of my lacking expertise a few month earlier) got hit hard. I will replant them into a new soil mix and see how it goes. Thank you!

Thank you 💚 Yes a soil mix with equal parts coco coir/perlite and bark will do well. We're all learning all the time, it's part of the journey 😁

I put plastic insect mesh in the bottom of my pots . The pon doesn't fall through then😊

How hard was it to transition watermelon to pon? Mine is small and soon needs an upsize and I would rather go to pon. Love this plant! Just ordered a hope can’t wait to get it. Thanks!

Mine took the transition quite well, the difficulty is trying to remove as much soil as possible without damaging the delicate roots. You could transfer to perlite first as it's more forgiving and then to pon once new roots had formed 👍

FYI. I think you mean petiole cutting not stem?

Yes it is the petiole but I've always heard people still refer to it as a stem cutting 🤷‍♀️😊
