I love your videos , how simple you are. please how do you reduce frizz with your twist. once I start to moisturise my twist then it start to frizz up.
@Hello-rq9yx4 жыл бұрын
Use a leave in conditioner to moisturize your hair. The conditioner would help with a little frizz. Then take a silk scarf and tie it down for a few minutes. I hope this helped a little.

I'm stuck at mid back length and I will try this. Thank you for sharing. Do you ever use a comb or brush?
@TheLordsPrecious8 жыл бұрын
I'm so lazy with my hair, lol. I should do better. But it seems to be doing alright. It gets water (mist) almost every day so I guess that counts. Like you, I also like to tuck my ends away in a bun, especially since I don't seal often. I recently cut 3 inches (b/c I haven't trimmed in years lol) and your hair is low-key making me regret it, ha. It's still about waistlength, and will grow back (that's what I tell myself anyhow), so I guess I'll live, lol. Thanks for sharing what you do. I like the idea about wrapping, but my twists (when I do them) always seem to become deformed when shaped wet. I'll try it again the next time, tho.
@EfficientlyNatural8 жыл бұрын
+Trinican Bee, hahahhaha... laziness sometimes helps if it means not over manipulating your hair. I'm the same way! Yea, don't worry about those 3 inches it'll grow back, lol! You should definitely try wrapping again. Are your twists super wet when you wrap? It might help if they are just barely damp.

Thank you so much for this video! I returned natural four years ago after doing the big chop. I started with a tiny Afro and now my hair is mid-back length but I'm having trouble with massive single strand knots and split ends. I did a trim but I'm considering blow drying my hair to keep it stretched, cut down on knots and to keep it manageable. I work out 4-5 days a week and wasn't sure how my hair would handle the blow drying. Do you work out? If so, how do you manage?
@MichelleIjeoma8 жыл бұрын
Also, do you keep your moisture mixed refrigerated considering it contains aloe vera juice?
@EfficientlyNatural8 жыл бұрын
+ Being Shelly B, I usually keep the aloe vera bottle refrigerated. However, with the moisture mix I usually mix just enough for the week and usually don't end up refrigerating over those 7 days because I just use it up.

I love hair,how long do you plan on wearing this protective style? And does your scalp itch a lot?
@EfficientlyNatural8 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Honestly, I'm not sure how long I plan to wear it. Atleast a month. I'm tired of having my hair out and just needed a break!

Great info as always! I was just wondering if you oil your scalp, & if so, which oil do you use? (Coconut oil makes my scalp itch!👎)

I love this! Can you go swimming with this style?
@EfficientlyNatural8 жыл бұрын
+Kendra, yes you probably can but it might get a bit messy/fuzzy afterwards. I would recommend redoing atleast a few in the front/crown if you do go swimming and finding a way to keep it stretched after getting it wet

Great video!!! Question regarding the castor oil you apply to your ends daily - does it weigh down your hair or make it greasy? If so, what do you do to address that?
@EfficientlyNatural8 жыл бұрын
+ Being Shelly B, thank you!!! I actually don't find that the castor oil weighs my hair down. I find that when I spray with a liquid and then apply the castor oil afterwards my hair just ends up feeling softer/smoother but not necessarily weighed down or greasy. This might be a function of how much castor oil I use or the way my hair responds to it. In any case, I really like it because it feels like I'm giving my hair an extra coating of protection.

How many twists do you keep in your hair? My hairs been getting long and I'm in college so i think keeping my hair in twist might be a great idea
@EfficientlyNatural7 жыл бұрын
+China Sanders, so true - keeping your hair in braids/twists while in college is a great idea. That's exactly what I used to do. In this video I had 38 twists. However, for the last month or so I've had 22 to make it easier to redo.

how long did it take u to grow ur hair?
@PUNKGIRLrock248 жыл бұрын
Wow my hair doesn't stay stretch. if i spritz or use any moisturise it shrinks so i just put it in buns.
@EfficientlyNatural8 жыл бұрын
Hmmm, I suppose every one's hair is different. I know if I use too much liquid that will definitely happen so I try to be very VERY light with it.
@heredianna24968 жыл бұрын
I also have kinky hair so my hair also shrinks back up when water hits it. But I have noticed that when my hair has been stretched for a while:1 week/to 5 weeks, the longer the better. It does not shrink back that easily if I apply some water to moisturize it. Same as her in this video.

if I use raw aloes, how do I preserve it without putting it in the fridge so it won't go bad?
@EfficientlyNatural7 жыл бұрын
+Miqua Burke, I usually keep the original bottle in the fridge. For the moisture mix I just make enough to last only for the week so I don't have to keep that in the fridge.

So you wash your hair about once a month? Does your scalp not get itchy?
@EfficientlyNatural7 жыл бұрын
+Miss4C, sometimes...but I mostly just listen to my hair. If it gets super itchy I'll just go ahead and wash it whenever that is. I'm usually able to make it to a month without issues.
