Hi again MATT Simple and practical tip especially for the beginners. No truer truth when said no feet/hooves no horse!! Best always to stay on top of their condition and avoid farrier and vet Bill's when possible. Thx as always Matt! Catcha next time...

Corona FTW! Years ago, before they even had the dressing, I used the Corona ointment on my horse's coronary band. This horse had AWFUL feet, such brittle hoof walls, but after using corona for a couple of growth cycles his feet got SO MUCH BETTER. Before this horse constantly lost shoes due to his hoof wall, but was able to keep them on after consistent corona use. I do the same thing with my current horse and she has naturally decent feet, but it can't hurt to protect them!

I love this! Mostly because you prefaced your treatment with the fact that you live in a dry climate. I am a farrier in a temperate climate. DO NOT do this if you live somewhere with allot of moisture! If any of my clients see this... I repeat... DO NOT apply this to your horses hooves! If i find out you have, I'm going to charge you more ;-) you have been warned!

I’m from a dry climate as well and this is such a helpful thing to know when someone is waxing poetic about their wonder product! There’s so many products on the market, but they don’t mention when to use them! A dressing versus a sealant is the difference between AZ and FL and also between quarter cracks and lost shoes!

Love that stuff. Used to use it on TWH all the time

Corona works really well. I found out about Wunderhoof from my farrier when my mare's hoof got ripped from the heel to the middle of the toe near the cornary band when she was hit by a car. Wunderhoof grew out a whole new, healthy hoof in 6 months while she was on stall rest. The stuff is amazing.

LOL! My brother tells me he can tell when I am not using hoof dressing, I cant hide it from him! I get the "fish eye" when he starts to work on my horses. Thanks for reminding me. Corona is great.

Ordered! Got it free with Amazon rewards. Do you rinse your horses after every work out? I live in the PNW, and it's too cold most of time. When weather permits, I rinse them with my HOTT wash.

NICE! Hard works, yes. Still works well whether you rinse or not! 🤙🏾〽️

Hi Matt, new to your you tube videos, and have watched quite a few of them, many helpful training tips,I thank you for them. On this video you explain how you use the hoof treatment and I just wanted to find out if you have used “Rain Maker” and your thoughts on it?
@mattmillsreining14 жыл бұрын
I have used Rain Maker. Didn’t work as well in Arizona, where I’m from. Too “ watery “

OMG...love the horse in this video. He is twitching his lips like he is mimicking what you say.....or....maybe he is saying enough “lip” Matt, on with the rinse off!

Good tip. Moist hoofs are easier for the farrier to work on.

Is there a way to make a horse more muscular and have a little bit of a wider stance
@ricardogarza89284 жыл бұрын
Does it just happen naturally over time of working the horse?

I've noticed at least two of the horses you have shown on your videos have d bar shoes and pads on the front. Why is that?
