How do you measure for stair carpet? Do you recommend doing it all at once or few sections at a time?

Hey 1st comment. I get told how good looking I am every time I look in the mirror... Do a video Bro where you have a turning staircase landing where it gets bigger on top.

Good installers do in the US as well. I will let you draw your own conclusions.

Yea, tread and riser, hammer and stair tool , couple staples for good measure!! This guy does rentals and flips so he's not held accountable for his hacks!! He'd loose everything on a 60 ounce plush in a half million dollar home!!

I found this video because I wanted to avoid using 'Smooth Edge'...... bloody awefull stuff !!

Could a brad nailer be used at an angle to achieve the same thing as the staples?
@steves65772 жыл бұрын

Could you spend a little more money and buy the appropriate tool? Skip that pizza or drive to the store and save the doordash BS. "at an angle" Nice one! Can I comb my hair with a garden rake if I point the handle away from my face? NO buy a fawking comb.

My ears hurt! BTW, if you cut the the carpet to cover one riser and one tread, then staple each section individually, the 90 at riser/tread will look much more professional than to go ape stapling that 90 degree fold when laying one full carpet up the stairs. with stapling the sectional tread/riser way the stairs will NEVER come undone. In fact that's how you can tell an amateurish job from a professional one.

This is my first carpet video. I need to re-carpet the stairs and was thinking exactly the same thing. The 30 year old carpet on our stairs is a bunch of individual pieces.

My mom and dad had the carpet on their stairs replaced recently. I went over one day had to take my shoes off. The installer put tack strip on the 90 you can most definitely feel them in your toes walking up stairs….idiots
