This was a wonderful tutorial, Genevieve! I have been using the basics of this method to sketch city and country scenes, using Rebelle 5 (I work on a Surface Pro, so no Procreate :( ). The way you do highlights was new to me, I will add that to my workflow! I really like the adjustments you made to facial features so they don't look creepy, which is a problem I've been running into. Do you make the same adjustments for male faces, or do you use even fewer lines? For instance, would you still use the thick lower lip, or simply a black line for where the lips meet? Similarly, how do you handle an open mouth? Do you show the tongue like cartoonists do, as a dark arc in the bottom of the mouth? Thanks again for this informative and useful tutorial!

I did not expect to watch this... but I did... every moment was valuable. Also, question, my lines are all shaky, did you change line stabilization for that? Or should I just get a lot better? Drawing on a sketchpad is so much easier because the pad itself has feedback and resistence. Digital drawing is so hard because there is no resistance and no real feedback.
