Have you tried a cartwheel kick yet? And how many people have done one in a fight? I did it once but don't know if I every will again.

I remember the Saying "I Couldn't do a cartwheel to save my life" And then someone saying. How or when could it ever? Then someone showed me a video of someone doing a cartwheel on a road and getting out of the way of a car. And he said there, a cartwheel saved his life. I'm sorry guys, it was a funny story being there had to share, this reminded me of it LOL

Im still training for mma on a skill maintaining level at the moment wich works mostly without pain but im anxious about what happens when the cast will be of my foot since i will not be able to walk for at least 6 weeks . Do you have any Tips? Greetings from Germany

Sorry to hear about your injury. I wish you a speedy recovery, and I hope Gabriel does make a video about that, I haven't seen alot of combat sports channels talk about that, it would be very helpful

is this a kick originally from capoeira?
@ingongoyama39952 жыл бұрын
yes. The Karate cats started using it in Japan and made a new blend of Karate and Capoeira called Tai Do. Capoeira roots are from African Kipura from The Congo. Muay Thai always adapts to opponents they make counters to and incorporate techniques from other arts over the decades. For example they started adding boxing just like Karate did when they created Kick boxing in the 60s in response to severe fight losses to the Thais.

It's fun but honestly, can be interpreted as disrespecting your opponent. Maybe the double leg flying kick that Saenchai also does I guess, is more effective and also less goofy.

It makes it a lot easier if you have a few athletic bones in your body. Balance seems to play a huge factor as well. I could see someone pulling this off on a civilian. Lmfao
