Just watched this video of yours. A newbie in this arena. But very impressive and I must say your son is a lucky man to have such a talented dad.

Thank you very much. My son designed what he wanted and I had to make it a reality. He’s very talented also.

Welcome to the CNC world. I have over 100 videos on easel and the XCarve. Is there a specific topic that you would like to see a video on?

great job... you always share so un-selfishly. You don't make videos to show "hey, look what i can do..." They are well thought out, sincere, and filled with tips & tricks and ideas that really help to get the creative juices flowing. i hate to leave such a long comment, but really wanted to give you my experience here on your channel... i saw this build & i was NOT going to watch it, because, to be honest it looked SO much better than an idea i have been working on. But, i love your videos & decided to watch just to see what you did & tell you how great it is. i am so glad i did. You really gave me a creative push in the right direction. I don't have a CNC. Hell, i don't have a table saw or band saw or sander etc etc. But i don't leave your videos feeling down about what i don't have or can't do because of medical limitations. You showed the true "how to" behind this incredible sign & while watching i realized a few things; like "I HAVE some of that stencil material"... " hey wait, i HAVE vinyl cutter..." & my creative block lifted like a fog. It may be a while before i have a enough "good days" to break out the router, miter saw etc & figure out where my vinyl cutter is hiding. BUT, thanks to you the weeks or months between now and then will be passed planning my new improved sign. Watching videos' from contributors like you and planning future projects has been my "best medicine" for years now. But, i'll tell you what Paw Paw, it is a LOT more fun planning an awesome project than a so-so one. Thanks for awesome-ing up my project & elevating my mood. When build day comes i'll be sure to ask for your advice, i'm sure i need it. - 🔨Lisa♿

Thank you for sharing and I really appreciate what you said. I will help in any way when you are ready to start your project. Thank you very much. My shop started years ago with just a drill and a jig saw. It’s amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it.

Great looking sign. It’s nice to see another process instead of carving

I’ve had no luck carving 813 but a friend of mine told me to just use the cheapest 651 I could find and he was right. I’ve used real 651 as well as knockoff ones and it works great. It’s thinner and stickier than the 813 and tends to adhere better in a Vcarve 👍👍
