I want to cast a fishing lure called a wiggle stick. It is just an acrylic stick 3inches long that looks like a tooth brush handle minnow shaped, with a hole drilled in it. An old man used to pour them here and since he died I have never been able to find them.

I make all my own molds now. So if it was under patent review it and see it it has closed. If it has (17 Years) it becomes public. You can then cast a mold of an old one Just dont use any logos or tradmark stuff and you will have all you need !

I have never seen them in any store, just one old man making them. They slay the white bass and hybrids. I have been looking for 15 years for another maker. I only have a few to copy so gonna have to learn a new skill I guess. Thanks for the knowledge very interesting skill.

I will John got to go get one from the boat. Could you tell by looking at them what they were made with acrylic, epoxy, or polyurethane? They weren't painted they had the color molded into them.

It will depend on age also. Doubt it was Acrylic . 70 % of all thing people say are Acrylic are not ! I know WTF it's a popular lie and Really Big in the Game Call Industry. I use Urethanes and Silicones both can be quite effective in the lure making process.

Yeah we have our misses some one will enjoy it we don't waste. New turners can buy bad blanks for a few bucks. Heck sometimes they win and it's just a diamond in the ruff. But they always get the practice and not the big bills.
