Seeing and observing how you as a ‘good’ filipina approached online dating as well as some of your motivations, expectations, fears and worries about how certain topics may (or may not) be received or interpreted by both parties is very enlightening and insightful. I find this whole concept of online dating fascinating as an impartial observer. I am happily married man (37 years in October), father, and grandfather of a very close, loving, immediate and extended family. However, I also dabble in psychology and enjoy observing social interactions of people from different cultures and that is kind of how I ended up watching vlogers from different countries on KZbin. Hi Chrissy! Thank you for your tip. I was involved with a good filipina ldr. She was real and met most all of your advice. I felt she cared and we spent hours on the video chats for about over a year. She is a school teacher and her baby is by now started school. She was everything I wanted and it motivated me to plan a trip there and get a passport. Then, she always made me feel like I should send her allowance. That made it hard to save enough to go meet her. It was understandable given that she is a single mother to an American man who did not want to be responsible financially so I did help her. She got to the point where she pretty much expected it. I realized that she could be playing me. I decided to let her go and escape a potential disaster. Anyways it has made it hard for me to actually get involved in anouther ldr. Im about 4 years away from actually qualifying for retirement and I'm afraid to pay a fee to christianfilipina so I can meet someone. My reality is that I probably will only be allowed because of my work to see girl in the Philippines only once a year for about a two weeks untill then. Would it be unfair to a lady if I persue someone Im interested this early? Would you two care to do a video on this? For me, it’s very hard to just look at photos and figure out their personality while scanning online dating sites. I prefer to meet in person and we look at each other and we both assess our mannerisms, and how we project our personalities with body language, and starting our conversations. I’m either attracted or I’m not and I’ll feel it very quickly, and I’m sure the Filipina also has a better understanding once we meet. I believe to be just friends only and not getting attached and building up expectations for a relationship that’s going further than being friends.

Nice vid. Overall it’s solid regular practical advice. I would say 5 minutes on your first call is no way near enough. I find it strange you think that’s all you would do. How in the world would anyone get to know anyone at all in that short time? Just talk until you feel you are done. With the issue of women messaging I don’t think it was an issue of people thinking you are a scammer. They most likely just weren’t interested in you. When I was doing online I got tons messaging me but I would do a quick scan on their looks , age & profile & moved on. Never once did I think it was about them being a scammer. Most guys prefer not to have single mothers & most likely a part of it as well. I do agree you should wait for the guy to message you first though as it shows after checking you out they actually have an interest. Nice vid as usual :)

SO MANY beautiful looking Filipinas on just the one dating site I have been looking at (haven't joined) for a long while now.
