Thanks mate much appreciated. Absolutely there would be mate. I remember a trawler coming past us out from DI one day as they were cleaning the catch. I drove past were they had been and there was a trial of Cuttlefish on the surface. I went and collected a heap for bait.

Thanks for the great video Greg. I wish I had seen your way of cleaning them before I processed last Saturdays lot. I manage to get ink on quite a few of them. I love the Panther snips at the front of the cuttle bone. Have you tried putting them in the scaling bag for a tow? Perhaps a partial processing before the bag?

Cheers Terry much appreciated mate. Another handy tip is to leave them on ice for a couple of days and make sure there not in sitting in any water. The ink thickens up and becomes way less messy. I haven't towed them behind the boat in the scaler bag like I do with squid as I feel it wouldn't really do a lot although I'm sure it may lesson the ink mess. Cheers

If you coat the jigs with clear nail varnish it not only stops them biting through the cover but they clean easier too

Really awesome video as usual, It never gets old for someone to be hit in the face with Ink But I have found that its only funny when its someone else? It is funny the underwater camera doesn't spin as much in this fishing, I found it sickening in some of the fishing ones as the fish spun coming up. Hey Gregg do you spearfish? Cheers Garry

Thanks heaps for the kind words Paul, much appreciated mate. The best ramp depends on what part of the bay you intend to fish. For the Northern bay - Bribie Island and Scarborough, Middle to Southern Bay - Manly or Cleveland. Very Southern Bay - Victoria Point or Redland bay. Cheers

Just looking at this video with your addition of another set of barbs on top of the jig , i observed on the camera vision that the cuttlefish still attacked from the front of the jig . Maybe the hooks on top if facing away from the head & opposite to the rear facing hooks would be worth a try . I intend to give it a try . Enjoyed your video , Ray .
