How to catch Fitzroy River Threadfin Salmon

Filming this episode out of Rockhampton was a great few days away. We had the cool calm demeanor of Mark ''Tubby" Taylor in contrast with full throttle Jack " in the box " Nolan along with Adam " Audacity" Finlay and yours truly. Between the four of us we had a few boxes to tick, firstly was a King Threadfin Salmon out of the Fitzroy River. The fishing was a little slow but Tubby kept us entertained with some classic cricket stories. Adam was our guide and didn't disappoint with a quality fish over a meter eventually showing up. The next day saw light winds forecast so we took the opportunity and blasted out the front of the Fitzroy to try some in shore reef fishing. There's an endless range of fish species on offer and we managed some great Grunter, Long Tail, Golden Trevally and Cod.
