Wow.....great post.. Always have wanted to fish Virginia since I was born in Chincoteague...As fast as you caught those flounder, I could drive to Detroit Metro, fly out, fish, eat, fly back, and still be home in time to go salmon fishing!!

@@CharterFishing True story. My Dad was Commanding Officer of the Chincoteague Naval Base (now Wallops Island NASA) back in the 50's...I actually was born on the island...Now I have a second reason to go back...Flounder!!!!! LOL...

Jake , dude that looks so freaking good ! I would love this I know it . You made 4 plates who’s dining with you . So now my trip is black sea bass and flounder 😁 I should of stayed in Virginia ! But nooo I moved back to Seattle . Salmon , Dungeness , ling cod , rock fish occasional halibut. Flounders of a different type but not a limit a day .

Snapper , Black Sea bass from from Florida and Virginia . Yellow tails, Mangrove , Virmilion , if in season reds . Mutton would be great 👍. The deal , two shot vertebrae sciatic area . Trying to get it fixed . Recovery by spring summer 2022 . We will see ! Forgot black fin . If any are to large you get the pole buddy . ok ? Black Sea bass sounds great to me and those flounder Devine’s !

@@CharterFishing there is good fishing in the Pacific North West salmon is great . Conservation has hit hard . No barbs weird catch areas . Bottom fish has a boat load of regs . Simple fact is over fishing . We have Orcas while very cool mammals they can eat a lot of salmon . I can tell ya Orca stories 😆

Did you guys leave before low tide? How deep was it when you left?

It was incoming tide. 8 to 9 feet when we left.

​@@CharterFishing Which Tide Charts do you use? The NOAA Tide Charts states High Tide was at 8:55am and Low Tide at 3:32pm on May 11th. Are these accurate to the actual conditions?

Yes. We arrived there at appx 4pm and were on the way home by 530

These people were happy with catching and releasing cobia after we limited. I don't really do much trout fishing here during the summer. More of a fall and winter thing for me. But we have huge reds here year round.
