I'm 49 and not fished since my teens. My eldest son is now a teen and we have started going together. Obviously we have limited skills. This video,is the best we have seen up to now with regards method fishing. Des was calm,relaxed and thorough in his masterclass. We both learnt a hell of a lot,especially the prep of the groundbait,and size of pellets to use. Thanks for a superb tutorial. Liked and subbed.

when's best to know when to use a small or large feeder please Des ??
@UKprestoninnovations7 жыл бұрын
Most of the time Des uses a Small Method Feeder, however if he is targeting very large carp he will use a large feeder.

Big fan of Des Ship, but I do find it strange that so many match anglers backwind, when they pay a fortune for a high quality reel? I never backwind, and never seen the need, but each to their own. Well done Des another excellent video.

Hiya guys, I've fished all my life,on the float mostly. Then started watching des,Tommy, and lee and the way they explained things was great, so started on the method and oh my days guys, I'm bagging up every time I'm at a venue,I've never had so many carp in my net and it's so easy to learn and tune the method,the baiting and prep is easy, in my mind it's the easiest and most enjoyment I've had fishing for years, anybody out there watching this video pay attention when watching and right down the tackle needed, go get it watch how to make the rigs (or buy ready made ones) after you've already tried using the method first and get on the bank, you'll have a great days fishing i promise you. and thank you for the videos to guys 🇬🇧 🎣 ✊🏼

For first amazing video, i wish asking you one thing. I see you use no stiki pellets. place in water for 10/15sec then rest for 10mins. You don't add any glue? I know sonubaits selling two version to fin perfect pellets, stiki and no stiki.
@UKprestoninnovations7 жыл бұрын
Hi Benares, Des prefers to use normal 2mm fin Perfect pellets when fishing up to shallow islands. However, he does use the Stiki 2mm fin Perfects when fishing in deeper water.

I’ve just started fishing after a 25 year break, I learnt how to use Preston innovations method feeder last week and this weekend just gone, I caught a total of 37 fish which included 13 carp, top weight was 9lb. Not quite near my pb of 14lb 3oz, but I’m enjoying this method so much
@UKprestoninnovations5 жыл бұрын
Brilliant Wayne glad you are enjoying it :)

iv done 2 sessions on the method feeder now and caught three carp total, im happy witht he results but i just cant get my head around the fact that my bait is this on the feeder after hitting the water lol. only ever float fished before and the first bite i had on the method just immediately wrapped around. the other 2 were delicate, so i presume its just about learning whats a bite and whats a knock??? the temptation to strike at nibbles is huge also i dont have a proper quiver tip so im just using a pellet waggler lol
