There’s no way Campus Police was prepared for Bundy, never mind the regular Police. Bundy really upped the ante as far as how serial killers were handled from there on in.

Karla Homolka was certainly not trapped by Paul Bernardo or under his spell. The tapes proved beyond doubt that she had an active role in the horrific rapes and killings, including her own sister. The fact she escaped with such a little time behind bars is just revolting and shows how the justice system is completely flawed.

I agree big time. When they have it on video ..dead to rights capital punishment is the only way. But Canada doesn't have that option. Now last month moved to medium security prison and didn't inform families or the public.. that news was leaked out and our question period has been just been given another topic for theatrics!

Karla was NOT a victim! She was diagnosed to be an absolute psychopath by multiple psychiatrists , and was also shown to be a full and enthusiastic participant in the sexual torture and murders. The videotape proving this was found AFTER she was given a deal for reduced charges. It had been concealed behind a light fixture in their house, which had supposedly been well-searched by police! = Blatant incompetence from police investigator Vince Bevan.

I thought so too, but I just looked this up: “Forensic dentistry or forensic odontology involves the handling, examination, and evaluation of dental evidence in a criminal justice context. Forensic dentistry is used in both criminal and civil law. Forensic dentists assist investigative agencies in identifying human remains, particularly in cases when identifying information is otherwise scarce or nonexistent-for instance, identifying burn victims by consulting the victim's dental records. Forensic dentists may also be asked to assist in determining the age, race, occupation, previous dental history, and socioeconomic status of unidentified human beings. Forensic dentists may make their determinations by using radiographs, ante- and post-mortem photographs, and DNA analysis. Another type of evidence that may be analyzed is bite marks, whether left on the victim (by the attacker), the perpetrator (from the victim of an attack), or on an object found at the crime scene. I've heard Paul Holes say that the pliability of flesh means that bite marks can never be definitively identified. Maybe bite mark evidence was relatively useful in Bundy's case because his teeth were so idiosyncratic.

​@freyashipley6556 I think it's tied to MO. And things the jury may have heard, but is not re leased. Bob kepple has said there's some things they have refused to release... In my view think biting, pinching, eating, and force feeding victims matter from themselves, or others. To me the impression of the teeth added to other evidence, rather than was evidence in itself.

First and foremost, many thanks for sharing. Canadian monster Paul Bernardo had audacity to apply for parole in June 2023, and his application was rejected. His (now ex-wife) Karla Homolka made "deal with the devil" and after serving relatively short sentences is now free.

Warner was sexually mentally and physically abused from the day she was born being raped by her father and anyone he passed her around to she was the outcast and bullied at school sexual promiscuity started very young age as she would have felt that was her only worth I don't know what her so called "mother " was doing but certainly must have approved of the treatment she received I can't help but feel had she been taken as a baby and adopted and Loved by good parents her life could have been good but she would have had terrible mental problems and trauma by the time she got away not to excuse her murdering the victims and their families got a life centence but she was just one of thousands of throw away children humans are the cruellest on earth

And Paul got life with no parole...but yet was allowed to apply... And just last month got transferred out of a maximum prison to a medium prison without informing the girls families. He does not deserve to be moved to a medium prison... It has caused a big controversy in our Parliament and with the public in general. karla got off way too easy. I dont care what deal you have, the deal should be off the table when they find proof of her lies!! She was convicted but still got to live in Barbados then came back to Quebec. Have kids and live a life free. This is not punishment!! They prorect the murderers here. They kept him segregated when he should have been thrown to the wolves in general pop!.. tired of our tax dollars supporting and feeding him.

Here in Canada life means after 25 yrs you can apply for parole. He has been in for 30yrs now. She only did 12yrs. I doubt he will ever be released, but then again with who we have as Prime Minister who knows - dude is no good for Canada neither is idiots who work with him who lied about moving him out of max security and to another prison. Guess they thought no one would find out. HAHAHA we are well aware of most of PM lies. Life should mean Life. Our justice system sucks

I agree it's a combination in most cases but I do think occassionally some are born...most of them might have been stopped if they had been rescued as a child and removed from their famalies...so many were brutually abused as children...

As far as Leslie Mahaffy goes, she missed her curfew and one parent, mother I think, locked the door to likely teach her a lesson… which subsequently led to her being killed. Who does that? It would have been much better to sit down and talk with her. I’m sure Leslie Mahaffy was a good kid. homolka was just as bad. She “gave” her sister to bernardo and she also participated in everything with Bbrnardo. And I think that whether or not anyone knew that he transferred to medium security, it doesn’t matter. It’s not like he’s allowed to walk the streets. He’s toast as homolka should have been. p.s. note that their family names don’t require capital letters. They’re of no importance.
