youd want to use the sparkling lure over the golden lure. it gives the same extra catch chance as the golden lure for this fish, but it only consumes 2 bait 25% of the time instead of 3 bait every time

u sure about that,,, why would the sparkling lure not chose another tier 3 fish... wouldn't the large lure be more effective considering it's the largest fish in the game?

@@orb-enjoyer4980 large lure isnt actually fish size its the chance of getting a bigger version of a fish, so with large lure you have a higher chance of getting a huge pupfish rather then a normal pupfish

@@mason5965 you'd think it would work like that,, but my research on the subject says that it actually just picks the larger one, not the one with the bigger modifier, so if u have the large lure it will pick a small whale rather than a huge shrimp wich can be good in some cases I guess. The same applies for the fly lure, just picks the smallest one.

I'm pretty sure I got it on my hook once... it was raining and suddenly an alpha appeared that required about 5k clicks. I had a rod power of 35 at that time so I got down to the last bar that required a bit more than 1900 before the fish got away... Now it is the only fish I haven't caught yet... thanks for the advice though! Good editing & thanks for keeping it short.

I bought my friend the game and he hopped in, right after tutorial I took him to the void, his fourth fish was the creature and then it was raining in the over world where he put his bucket (I may have thought him a lot of stuff at level 1) and he got the golden bass from his bucket, he has 40 minutes on the game and I have 30 hours, I still don’t have a golden bass 😭😭😭

Im at rod power 20 and I got a 2000 click fish. Pretty sure it was this one, i was in a rain cloud and using the best bait. I was like 300-400 clicks away
