Been trolling the same big deep lake for 40 years. Upgraded to a pro v with an ulterra last year and thought that was an amazing upgrade. I'm considering getting livescope for both winter and summer fishing and started watching your channel for general information. I just wanted to thank you for all of the great content.

I like both video formats for learning. This is about as close to being in the boat and observing the ‘why’ without actually being the boat.

First of all, congratulations on the new addition to the family. Secondly, one thing these live videos have shiwn me is that its not as easy as the edited versions can sometimes make it look. I've tried this a few times and only have one walkeye to show for it. So I'm glad to see that it can be challenging. Enjoy the content, TJ.

Appreciate that, Dan! Absolutely! The edited versions are nice to show max info and prove a point efficiently, but these uncut vids definitely show real life!

The unedited sharpshooting accuracy is crazy. He locks onto a fish, casts, and then u see the splash in the cone angle with the fish. That is really hard to do. He does it over and over. Impressive.

Love this format. I would like to know more about how you are setting up your casts. I use Mega Live so to see my splash and jig, I have to be dead on with my cast. Also, I know I am spooking way too many fish. I am not sure what can be learned from the GPS view when it is zoomed in so far. When your live is mounted on your trolling motor enabling the compass heading line of the trolling motor could be cool. Also zooming out a touch would be better. I really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work!

i think livescope helps catch more fish. I think a nice boat will help you catch fish, a nice new rod and reel etc. Tech improves over the years making it easier to catch fish. For me, that means i need to be more responsible and watch what i keep. Maybe not fish deeper water so that when i release fish, they have a better shot at living. I think when you talk about banning things, where do you draw the line?? Cheers TJ!!

I love this topic. Forward facing sonar! My thoughts are on this if you have the money to put one on your boat or wanna go into debt for one go for it! I don’t have the money nor I’m gonna buy one on credit because I’m a father of three kids and have way more important things I put my money into. But the advancements In technology is changing daily even by the hour I’d say. This world thrives on the next big and best thing and if you don’t have it you’re living in the past. Think about this if being able to look at a screen and cast at a singular fish try to entice the bite is wrong then how about looking through a high powered scope trying to harvest a deer and hundreds of yards away is there controversy in that? In some states you can fish with more than one fishing pole per person in open water. How is there not controversy with that issue? What’s more impactful to our fishery forward facing sonar or fishing with two lines? I’m a sportsman don’t want and waste respect dnr management whatever types of advantages you may purchase as a hunter or fisher.
